It was raining again. The lightning filled the sky. We were safe, though. Safe from any rain. Safe from all lightning. Safe under the covers.

I am awake, still. A boom of thunder woke me up. I think that was very fine. It meant that I got to look at you while you slept. Your face is beautiful. Really, everything about you is wonderful. You make me feel like a child, wondering at how pretty you are.

And I look at you and get the butterflies in my stomach. I feel it run from my nose to my toes. It makes me smile and laugh a little when I feel it. You make me laugh and smile and feel…tingly.

I hope you stay with me. I hope you don't go and leave. Please stay?

Another wave of this tingly feeling shot through me. I just closed my eyes and hummed softly, enjoying the goose bumps that ran up my arms. I adore this feeling. The feeling that only you inspire.

I fell asleep with a smile on my face. You tucked me in. I thought you were asleep. Then you held me in your arms and your warmth spread through me.

After the storm, when the sun comes up, I awake to see you watching me. My heart just about explodes. I feel it in my soul; the love that I have for you, the love you have for me. You kiss the tip of my nose. A smile grows on my face.

All I ask is for you to hold me tight and take your time.

No matter where you go, I'll always know.
