all the witty quips and scathing come-backs that

burst from my throat so easily

are gone; stolen by your dark eyes and dimpled smile.

words have always flocked to me, but i find myself

barely able to hold a conversation.

hopefully you don't notice i'm not really talking,

just nodding along to what you say.
