The Bystanders POV

Why do they have to do this to him,
He has done nothing of sin,
They do the same thing every day,
I wish they would just go away,

I'm scared to stop them or to tell,
They might bully me as well,
A friend needs to help him through,
Think about him not about you,

But how on earth can I save him now,
I haven't the slightest clue how,
I'll just hold my breath and walk away,
Maybe come back another day,

Maybe they'll change, stop even,
Now I'm really scared,he's barely breathing,
Avoid eye contact, that's what I'll do,
Wait, why am I thinking about me when I should be thinking about you?

I don't know how I can stand this much longer,
He's getting weaker and their getting stronger,
So I have to stop them,
For he has done no sin,

He will be left their to die,
And I'll be the one who didn't even try,
When his heart does stop,
I'll be known as the one who watched.
