Chapter 2 Shopping/Confessing

Rylin's pov)

The sun was beaming in through my window and straight into my eyes,I groaned as I sat up in bed,I was excited because Shannon and I are going shopping to look for a prom dress,which prom was in 3 weeks. I looked at Shannon and she was lightly sleeping with her one arm over the pillow,i tiptoed past her and went straight to the shower,if she got to it first there wouldn't be any hot water,she was just as bad as Ryan; I turned the water on until it was almost at the perfect temperature,I got in and wet my hair,the warm water felt so good.I just sat under the shower head and thought about last night I had a great time with Nick,I wish it was just so simple and we can be together but no it had to be difficult,I was brought out of my thoughts by a knock at the door.

"Rylin,are you almost done.I want to get a shower."Ryan said in a loud tone.

"Yeah I'll be out in ten minutes,don't take all the hot water,Shannon has to get in yet."I called out.

"Okay."He replied,he went back into his bedroom.

I dabbed some shampoo on my hand and massaged in thoroughly through my hair,it smelled like raspberries ,my favorite scent. I rinsed that out and washed my body with Irish spring soap,I rinsed that off and wrapped the towel around my body;i was in my room looking for something to wear I decided on a blue denim skirt that went a little bit above the knee with a blue shirt.I decided to wear my white flip-flops with it.I went into the bathroom and did my hair,which i put it up in a messy ponytail,I didn't feel like doing my make-up;Shannon was now up and getting into the shower.I went on my laptop and surfed around for a bit,Shannon came out in a blue sundress wearing her baby blue flip flops; Shannon had her hair straightened with a bret in her hair making a bump.

"I love your outfit gurly."I said,complimenting her.

"Thank you,I love yours to."She said,smiling at me.

"Thanks,so what time do you want to leave,its 11:30 now?"I said,looking at my watch.

"We can leave now,I'm all ready."She said,walking out.

We headed to my car which was the 2013 KIA Sorrento and it was has her license but her car is at has the 2013 Chevy Malibu and it was black;I parked my car in the mall lot and we headed into the store Maurice's'.

"So how did everything go with you and Nick last night?"She asked.

"Good,I wish we didn't have to hide our feelings."I replied, she just nodded.

We went to another rack to look around and see if we liked any of those dresses,I seen a beautiful sparkly pink dress,it was perfect.I looked at the price and it was $350.00,it was my price range, Shannon held a mint green one up,hers' was $250.00.

"That one would look nice on you."I said,looking at it.

"Yeah I agree." She said.

We took our dresses with us and went over to the had a pair of silver shoes with rhinestone on there,they were $9.99.I grabbed them up while Shannon grabbed a pair of 4-inch silver took our stuff up to the check out line,while the lady rung them up I checked my cellphone and I had a text from Ryan.

hey sis,going to be at Nick's until nine so just cook something for you and ya.

I hit the reply button and wrote Okay sounds good see you then:)i hit send.

"Okay your total is $389.99."The blonde girl said,I handed her my credit card.

"Is that credit or debit?"She asked.

"Debit."

I punched my pin in and grabbed my bags.

"Thank you,have a nice day."She said.

Shannon grabbed her bags and we were off her total was $258.99;We left the store and decided to get some lunch so we headed to the food court;I got a chicken sandwich with french fries and a medium milkshake and Shannon got a fish sandwich with onion rings with a medium diet coke.I paid for it.

"So what do you want to do after this?"I asked tiredly.

"we can head back if you want,my feet are starting to hurt anyways."She replied.

We ate our food and headed home,we were home in no time.

Two hours later:

We were sitting in the living room watching tv when I decided to look up at the time it was 1:00,I wish time would go faster because Ryan texted me and told me Nick was staying over and dad had to work late...as usual, Shannon was now reading the latest fashion magazine while i flipped through the channels,there wasn't anything on.I found myself dozing off,thinking about Nick,Shannon had dozed off to;I stretched as I got up..a couple of hours later and it was four I went into the kitchen to cook dinner while Shannon was still asleep on the chair.I decided to cook chicken Alfredo with noodles and I was cooking when Ryan and Nick walked in,my heart was pounding a mile a minute.

"I thought you weren't going to be home until nine?"I asked,confused.

"We decided to come now,what are you cooking,it smells good."Ryan said.

"Thank you! Chicken Alfredo with noodles and a vegetable."I reply with a smile.

"Please don't burn it."Nick joked.

"Lay off,she is a good cook."Ryan said,with a laugh.

Dinner was done in no time and we were all sitting at the table laughing and enjoying each others' company.

"So what color are your guys dresses?"Ryan asked, interestingly.

"Mine is Mint Green and Rylin's is Pink."Shannon just sat there and listened to her.I rolled my eyes.

Everyone was done with there plate and I threw them in the dishwasher and we all headed into the living room and watched tv.I was sitting by Nick for once and Shannon was sitting by Ryan carrying it on.

"Guys please just get together already."I blurted,they turned to each other.

"Shannon I do like you,I'm not hiding it anymore."Ryan said,blushing.

"I like you to Ryan."She said hugging him.

I guess they were dating now.

"Guys why were telling secrets,Ryan there is something I need to tell you."I said nervously.

"Your not pregnant are you!"He said in a hyper tone

"Gosh no,I liked Nick for the past few months and He likes me back,we didn't want to ruin your guys friendship because of how protective you are of me that's why i didn't say anything." I said in one breath.

"I knew there was something going on between you,and Nick said your name in his sleep."Ryan said amused.

Nick blushed."Shut up!" Nick said,throwing a pillow at him.

"Are you mad?"I asked him.

"No,I don't care if you two date but Nick if you hurt my little sister,you better move to China."He said half serious.

I squealed and jumped in Nicks' arms giving him a peck on the mouth.

"Now I don't want to see any of that."Ryan said laughing.

We all settled and watched tv for the remainder of the day,before I knew it it was time for bed.
