A/N: As a clumsy individual, I fall quite a lot. When I tripped over my own tied shoelace today, I thought of this idea.
For The Clumsy ones out there,
A shout out from over here.
For its not easy being uncoordinated,
But one benefit is quite underrated.
For when you do fall,
Or walk into a wall,
'Tis not nearly as bad,
As for those who hardly do so at all.
This is for the bumbling and the blundering,
As they are tumbling and thundering to the floor,
And into the people and the walls,
Have mastered the Art of the Fall.
The Art of the Fall,
Is as simple as its called,
Yet not a skill,
That one can simply drill.
The Art of the Fall
As it should be called
Is to simply hit the floor,
Or the door,
With a part
That so much it should not hurt
Or be as damaged, as say, the head,
And refrain from damage on the brain.
The other part of the Art of the Fall
Is to get back up,
And move on,
Not dwelling upon,
The usually nonexistent swelling.
The Art of the Fall
Is not complex nor impossible
It does not make being clumsy fun,
But much easier, when all's said and done.
