Well hi there FictionPress! This is my first "Real Book", not based off of another topic. I'm writing a Story named "The Crafting Chronicles: New Beginnings", based off the concept of minecraft. It is sort of a FanFic, but I'm hoping to make it into a real book. Anyway, this aint about that story, it's about this one! Reviews are much appreciated, I enjoy feedback more than anything else! If you take the time to read this, please tell me what you think! ;D

Enjoy Chapter One!

Chapter 1: Just a Normal Day

"BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!" Ugh… Stupid clock. I opened my eyes to see what time it was. 7:00. Damn it. I prefer to wake up at 6:30 and let myself wake up as I lay underneath the warm covers for a half hour. Now I have to get up, and into my cold room. I should really turn on the heater before I go to bed so the room isn't so cold in the morning, but I forget every time. After forcing myself to get up and onto the floor, I walked groggily down the hall to the bathroom to take a shower. I turned on a playlist to listen to as I let the warm water of the shower pour all over my body. It felt so good. I love taking showers, especially in the morning when it's cold outside. A few minutes later, I finally finished. I usually take long showers, but I can't really afford to during the school week. Checking the time to make sure I wasn't going to be late, I picked up my hairdryer to dry my hair off. I have thick long hair, so it doesn't dry fully with a towel. The only problem with using a hairdryer is that I am EXAUSTED. The warm air makes me drowsy and lose track of time. By the time I finish, it's 7:30. And the bus comes at 7:35.

"SHIT!" I jump up, and put on my clothes as fast as I possibly could. I ran down the stairs, pulling on my jacket as I go. I glance at the clock. 7:33. "Nononononono… Please don't let me miss the bus…" I was panicking at this point, grabbing a breakfast bar and my ADHD meds from the cabinet. Running out the door, I looked over at the corner. I breathe a sigh of relief, as there are still people at the bus stop. The bus is just coming around the corner, and I jog over to the stop to get on. I JUST made it. I hate missing the bus, because then I have to listen to a lecture about getting up earlier from whichever of my parents is driving me. I plop down on the seat, and stick my headphones into my ears. I press the play button on my Ipod, and the sweet sound of Area 11 blasts into my ears. I'm probably going to make myself deaf one day, with my music playing so loud, but who cares. I drown out the rest of the world as I immerse myself in my music. Before I know it, the bus is at school. It isn't really that long of a drive, but the traffic is always AWFUL, so the ride winds up being around 15 minutes longer than it really should be. I get up out of my seat and off the bus. I look towards the building that I'm about to waste 8 hours of my life in. Bleh. I mean, I don't HATE school, but it really does tire me out sometimes. High school is much better than any of the other years of hell I've had to endure, but it isn't heaven. My school, Chattahoochee high, was much better than I expected high school to be. Most of the people were kind and friendly; well, as kind as a teenager can be. The classes weren't all that boring, and I enjoyed most of the teachers. All that is great, but school is still school. I walked inside, and went over to where my first period class is. There are about 15 minutes before school officially starts, so I went over to the couches to sit down. I closed my eyes and just continued to listen to my music. I nearly dozed off, but the bell caught me just before I did. Groaning, I got up and walked into class. Lit went by relatively quickly, mostly because we were watching the film version of Romeo and Juliet, and class always goes by quicker when watching a movie. Spanish felt like an eternity, as always. I'm not fantastic at Spanish. Actually, I'm pretty terrible, but I try my best. Health, Lunch, and homeroom all go quickly, as usual. Science was enjoyable, as we did a lab. I enjoy science a good deal, mostly because I am rather good in it. Computer Applications was also enjoyable, mostly because I didn't do any work. I sat at the computer (after finishing my work in five minutes) and browsed the FanFiction archives. I also worked on my book, The Crafting Chronicles. Finally, I went into math. I hate math, most likely because it's at the end of the day, and I don't really want to do any more work. I zoned out, and daydreamed up new ideas for my stories, answering the occasional question. When the class was over, I nearly ran out the door. It was Friday, and I couldn't wait to just get home and relax. I walked out the front door of the school, and onto the bus. I'm usually one of the first people on the bus, because I don't go to my locker after my last class. The bus ride home was quick, and before I knew it, we were pulling into my community. My phone started to vibrate, and I checked to see what it was. My mom had sent a message to me. I won't be home till later tonight. Your father, sister, and I are going into the city to do some things. See you later. Yes! This is good, because now I won't have to deal with them bugging me to get off my computer! Good, now I can relax in peace. I got off the bus at my stop, and walked into the house. To my surprise, a female voice called from upstairs.

"Hello? Who's there?" Huh? I thought that they weren't going to be home till later. Who the hell would be home? And why did the voice sound like a teenage girl? I hadn't answered this mystery person, so she called again. "Hellooooooooo? Seriously, who is it?" I started to walk upstairs, and I guess she was getting impatient. She emerged from my room just as I got to the top of the steps, and I got a good look at her. She was around 6 feet tall, about my high, with long brown hair. She was super skinny, and was wearing basically the same clothes I was wearing. We both wore a pair of blue jeans, and a white t-shirt. She had the same exact jacket on as me, and she was even wearing it with the zipper open, the same way I do. Who WAS this girl?

"First off, why were you in my room? Secondly, Who the HECK are you?" She looked at me, obviously confused.

"YOUR room? This is MY room! I don't even know who the hell you are!" I could see that this wasn't going anywhere, so I tried a calmer approach.

"Ok, perhaps I started this off wrong. My name is Ryan Rendace. What's your name?" I could see her eyes widen. "What? Is something wrong? Do you recognize it? She shook her head.

"Uhhhhhh... no. It's just that... Well... My name is Ryan Rendace also..."

This is actually what my life is like. ;-;

I hope you enjoy! o3o
