Words in the sand
What do they mean
if the ocean washes them away
and leaves the sand clean?
If not on paper
If not with blood
Will the words really stay forever?
For nothing ever really stays
Soon all words are washed away
But them being written does not change
So seal it with a kiss
Sign it with the blackest of ink
And the words will be gone
But they will remain written forever
