The moon floated overhead
Countless shadows twisted and sped
We drove by the old oak
Up into the air went tendrils of smoke
The sky darkened as we drove on
Driving for a while; it was nearly dawn
As the sun slowly rose and the moon went down
Finally we could see our destination town
We gasped as shimmering lights hit us
Like a freight train; the baby began to fuss
For the lights were blinding on her immature eyes
After traveling for so long in the dark
The light was indeed a beautiful spark
