Conceal The Tears
I gave you everything.
I gave you my heart, my soul, everything I love.
You gave me pain.
You gave me dark nights alone, waiting for you to come.
You gave me lies, you made me know what it is to cry.
I gave you second chances.
I gave you one more chance to show up for our date.
I gave you all my time when you got sick.
All my care when you needed that 3:00 am favor.
You made me ask myself if I was good enough.
If any of it was worth it.
I have to go, I have to leave.
Don't call, don't come, don't apologize.
You don't mean it.
It's cold out now, I try to say it calmly.
I try to tell you what you've done to me in a nice way.
You look at the ground, you start to say your sorry.
I don't care,I don't want to care.
I feel my eyes get wetter, then they spill over.
Lucky for me it started to rain as I left you.
I hoped it would conceal my tears.
