He is the only one that can see me now
Through this strange connection we share
He tries not to look, makes sure we never speak
Though once we were an envied pair
His once bright eyes are now dark, dangerous pools
Filled with guilt, though I think it's only fair
One drunken Friday night and he took my life
Only now does he know what it means to care
He is the only one that can see me now
Through this strange connection that we share
