World War 1
Seeing who seeing where
Watching as a stalker prepares
Watching as a bullet slices though the air
Going though the heart of the Archduke
Listening to the yells of despair
Hoping that this is not true
A month later
Men line up in trenches
Firing at each other
Relentless death
Fill the trenches with despair
Rats bite, machine guns ring out
Sight ebbing away as gas fills the trenches
10 million deaths for five miles
1915 sunk a ship by a submarine
Causing innocents to die
USA enters the war
A treaty is signed at the end of the war
One man's death equals many more
