You Don't Care, Do You?

You don't care if you leave a mess.

You don't care if Mother will be upset since you left it.

You don't care if I have homework,

and give me my brother to watch just so you can

smoke,

play your Xbox,

or take a nap.

You don't care if the trash can is overloaded.

You don't care about the money problems,

you spend it on unnecessary things,

you don't give Mother the amount you promised her,

you make her pay all the bills,

you make her pay for her own 'present'.

You don't care if Mother isn't happy, and claim that she needs to 'find her own happiness'.

But how can she?

When YOU are the problem?

You don't care if Mother or I are angry,

And simply blame our anger on our 'periods'.

But you know what dad?

Lately,

I don't care about you.
