Jericho

Jericho once stood tall,

A blessed city, that would never fall.

It's walls stood high, strong and tough

Nothing in the world would be strong enough

To do the unthinkable, impossible feat,

And take down the walls could never be beat.

Yes no one thought they would see the day

That the great Jericho walls gave way.

But then on the horizon arose a threat

An enemy they had never before met.

And they stormed the walls marching around

Praying that a weakness could be found.

For days nothing happened

All they did was march, with no more actions.

And just as the people started to relax,

The walls of their great city collapsed.

And when the soldiers stormed from the outside in,

The people of Jericho just couldn't win.

And the city fell that fateful day

Whe Jericho's great walls gave way.
