Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival
Riot of ivory, of cerise,
500, from Kobe, from Yokohama
In remembrance, in honour
Delicately blushing
Blooming, heralding spring
Ephemeral beauty
Flutter of wind,
Blossoms dance in the air,
Tumbling as pink rain
