Prologue:

"It's cold…."

A girl sluggishly put one foot in front of the other. The snow piled up around her as she slowly walked. She breathed hard. Her plain, brown hair looked dead. The girl was walking in the cold, without a jacket on. "I'm cold…"

She suddenly felt a jacket being draped over her shoulders. The girl turned around and was face to face with one of her few close friends, Rayne. Her pink hair looked dull with the worried on expression on your face.

"What happened, Lily?" Rayne asked gently.

Lily opened her mouth to talk, but closed it, deciding not to say anything. All she did was look at the snow piling up in front of her.

"I guess you don't want to talk…" Rayne said slowly. "C'mon, I'll take you home."

Lily slowly nodded at Rayne's gracious offer. She then noticed that Rayne's usual elegant attire seemed rushed and messy.

"If you're wondering about my clothes… I guess I kind of rushed here to help you… I heard from a classmate, Cherry." She explained to me, without looking back. "Cherry saw you leave without a jacket on. I was worried Mackenzie did something to you again."

Lily slowly nodded. The rest of the walk home was silent.

"I'm home…" A quiet voice called out. Everyone turned to look at the person standing at the door. Rayne has already left for her own house.

"Lily!" A little girl called out, as she ran towards her. She jumped up for a hug, and luckily, Lily caught her.

She smiled softly at the girl.

"Hello Claris." Lily greeted softly, as Claris smiled at Lily. Lily looked up to her parents. "Hello Father, Mother."

The two parents looked up from their work and nodded at Lily, before turning back to their work. Lily sighed and looked down.

"I don't get why mommy and daddy are meanies to you." Claris stated. Lily looked at her gratefully. At least someone in her family didn't hate her.

Lily suddenly heard feet pounding against the stairs. An older girl's face suddenly appeared to greet Lily.

"Oh my god Lily, what happened?" The girl asked, surprised.

"Mira, it's okay! Lily is just fine!" Claris exclaimed, smiling.

"No, she's not okay." Mira snapped, glaring at Claris.

She took Claris out of Lily's hands and set her on the floor. Mira then grabbed a hold of Lily's hand and dragged her to her room. She slammed the door to her room shut and locked it, so pesky little girls like Claris couldn't get in. She turned around to face Lily. Her annoyed expression disappeared from her face.

"Let's fix your bruises." Mira told Lily softly, getting her first aid kit out.

"Please!" A girl called out, on her knees. She bowed. "I just want to help… I want to do something…" She looked at him.

He closed his eyes for a second to think.

"If I let you… will you be... more mature, responsible when you get back? Or will you be the same old, same old?" He asked in an intimidating voice. The girl's eyes widened, and quickly nodded.

"O-Of course." She choked out, sounding like it was forced. He did not look convinced, staring at her. She gulped.

He took a sigh and shook his head.

"Who knows why, but… go for it. Just become different when you get back."

And like that, he disappeared. The girl's eyes widened, and cheered to herself.

"Don't worry…" She whispered quietly, to no one in particular. "I'll help you."

She woke up with a startle and bolted upwards. She breathed harder and shook her head.

"Why this again!?" She growled, sounded agitated. The girl quietly slipped out of her bed and head towards the window.

"I'll change… just wait you see…" She whispered, glaring.

"I hate you." A voice randomly said aloud.

'Hallucinating again. Oh geez, I need to get a grip.' The girl thought. 'Maybe get some pills…'

"I hate you too." She said aloud, smirking.

"Oh, just take it!" A girl quietly yelled, fixing her star hairclip. The sun was about to rise, the light seeping through the windows.

"And what do you think I'm doing?" A blue-haired girl yelled back. Her hands were in someone's desk, searching its contents.

"Being an idiot." The first girl responded, glaring. Another girl with silver hair interrupted.

"Please, just shut up or we'll be found." She said coolly, looking like she wouldn't care if anything happened.

"Hurry up!" The girl with the star hairclip yelled. "You're taking decades."

"Oh okay, what you gonna do?" The blue haired girl looked irritated. "Use your drop dead gorgeous looks to seduce me or something? "

"Maybe if you don't hurry up!"

The girl with blue hair's pace fastened. She even looked inside the desk.

"Faster!" The girl with the hairclip yelled.

"Shut up or I'll smack you with my Gucci Bag." She snorted back. "Maybe throw money in your face, you low life piece of scum." Suddenly, the clacking of high heels was heard and talking.

"FASTER!" The girl with hair clipped yelled, but not enough for people outside to hear.

The girl with silver hair walked up to the desk, smacked the other girl's hand away and grabbed something in the desk.

"Finally. And you didn't even get it." The girl with a hair clip said to the blue haired girl.

"Well sorry Ms. Princess, I was busy thinking of how to kill you with my Gucci bag and my Guess Shirt." The girl shot back.

A boy sighed and stopped leaning against the wall.

"Can we go now?" He asked in a bored tone. The girl with the hair clip turned around and smiled.

"Sure!" She exclaimed, all peppy-ly. The blue haired girl sighed and shook her head slightly at the peppyness.

The four of them left the classroom, without a single person knowing they were there.
