Evening
i keep driving because
i want this song to end before
the moon tucks me in, so
i head into the sunset heavy
on my eyes as a dream. in this light
i can see the ribbon of highway stretched
out before me between the sparks;
i know the fuse will blow eventually, but
i just want this verse to linger
forever.
