Supernaturalis Academy
A Kingdom of Lochanna Tale
Chapter One
Welcome to Supernaturalis Academy, an academy for the supernatural beings of the world, ranging from Daemons to Angels. We have selective courses for those who need them, and we also have regular courses you would find in a human school.
Could all new students to Supernaturalis Academy please proceed to the Lecture Hall, and all returning students please go to your year coordinator to get your locker number, class schedule, your uniform and your dorm number.
Repeat, could all—
Pearce blocked out the sound of the female voice over the intercom and walked on towards the Year 10 coordinator's office to grab the required items to start his long, boring year. He walked up the long polished black marble floors and the polished white marble walls, sighed, and ran a hand through his somewhat spiky, yet straight, blonde hair, and then flinched. He pulled his hand back and sighed, closing his bright green eyes. He had a slightly deep scratch on his hand from the two small, black horns that have been growing ever so slightly from his… let's call it a fault until you see what the fault is.
Pearce sighed, again, and trudged up to the nurse's office. It was in the opposite direction to his year coordinator's office, and he had to go twice as far to reach the coordinator's office to collect his things. When he reached the nurse's office, he looked around to see her sitting at a desk, flipping through the latest women's fashion magazine. He knocked on the door.
"Um, excuse me? I cut my hand and I was wondering if you could bandage it for me please?" Pearce asked politely and the nurse stood up. Pearce looked her over: giant boobs, long purple tinted black hair, dark pink eyes, and a short skirt to flash her long legs, a bra that was acting as a top with three skeletal fingers curling underneath, a white lab coat and a dark purple tail with matching coloured wings. A Succubus.
"Why of course, young man. Let me go get the bandages and medical alcohol, and you go sit on the edge of the bed over there." She said with a seductive grin and pointing over to the bed with a finger with a long, purple painted nail. Pearce obeyed and sat on the edge, and not too long after, the nurse appeared with the bandages and alcohol.
"Now, this will only sting a bit." She said and proceeded to dampen a cloth in her hands with the alcohol and apply it to his cut. While doing this, Pearce did his best not to look at the nurse's breasts that were currently being flashed in his face. He didn't notice that she had finished fixing his hand until she spoke, right next to his ear in a seductive tone.
"Young man, I've finished bandaging your hand. You are free to go now." She said while twirling a strand of his blonde hair with her finger. Pearce snapped out of his trance, stood up and thanked the nurse. He walked out in a hurry, not watching where he was going, and bumped into someone, scattering the person's things.
"I'm sorry! Let me get those for you." Pearce said and bent down to pick up the person's things.
"Oh, it's alright. I wasn't watching where I was going, so it's not your fault." The person said, bending down to get his things. Pearce took this moment to get a look at the person he had bumped into. The person was clearly male, and he had striking blue eyes, slightly curly black hair, wasn't too buff and wasn't too skinny either.
"Oh, no no! I wasn't looking where I was going! I was trying to forget about the nurse's giant breasts. She's a Succubus, so beware when you go to her. I'm Pearce, and I'm a Daemon." Pearce said, standing up with the guy's things and offering his hand. The guy took it.
"Thanks, and I'll be cautious when I go see her! I'm Jackson, and I'm a Shapeshifter." Jackson introduced himself, holding his hand out for his things. Pearce handed over Jackson's things and brushed himself off. Just as Pearce was about to ask something, a loud voice came yelling from down the hall.
"PEEEEAAAAAARRRRRR!" the voice yelled, and along with it, a flash of black and blue and Pearce was on the ground.
"What the hell?! I don't want a concussion on the first day! Who the heck are you?" Pearce yelled and had a look at the thing that had attacked him. He saw black and blue wings, same coloured hair and fluffy tail.
"Vincent? The hell? And I thought I told you not to call me Pear!" Pearce yelled at the bundle. Said bundle removed himself from Pearce and stood up.
"That's not very nice, Pear. And anyway, I was looking for you since you said that you'd be at the coordinator's office at eight-twenty! It's now eight-forty, and I got worried so I looked for you." Vincent explained and pulled Pearce to his feet. Pearce dusted himself off for the second time in five minutes and sighed.
"Well, I had to go to the nurse's office to get my hand bandaged because I had cut it on my horns." Pearce explained, removing his phone from his pocket to have a look at the time. He looked at Jackson and saw that he was standing there awkwardly.
"Hey, what year are you in?" Pearce asked.
"Year 10, you?" Jackson asked back.
"10, I'm just about to head over to the year coordinator's office. Do you have to go there?" Pearce asked, pushing Vincent away from his body. He was a little clingy today, and he's usually clingy when something bad is going to happen. Angel instinct.
"Nah, I haven't. Let's go then, you two look like you still haven't gotten your things." Jackson said and began walking towards the year coordinator's office. Pearce and Vincent followed.
"Nah, I was on my way when I cut my hand. And I'm hoping that they took my request of Vincent as my dorm mate into account because he's the only person who can help me when my… fault rears its ugly head." Pearce explained. Who are ya calling ugly, ya damn brat? A dark voice sounded from within the depths of Pearce's mind. Nobody that is of your concern, Chaos. Pearce shot back.
"Oh, I'm Vincent, a heavenly angel. And who are you?" Vincent asked politely. Jackson turned around and smiled.
"Heya, I'm Jackson, and I'm a Shapeshifter. It's perfect for Halloween, I can tell you that much." Jackson said with a smile. Pearce and Vincent laughed.
"I think most of the student body that look like they belong in a horror film, love Halloween. I'm just glad they let us do Trick or Treating." Vincent laughed and Jackson agreed.
"True, and I bet that they sometimes scare little kids when they add bits and pieces. Last year I went as a werewolf and I added knots and blood to my fur and I sent a whole bunch of little kids screaming, it was hilarious." Jackson laughed at his memory
They walked through the door to the year coordinator's office, and sat down in the chairs provided as there was already someone getting his things. The trio waited for what seemed like an hour, but was really only about ten minutes. Jackson went up first, and was there for about five minutes since he already had his books.
"Hey, Pearce? Do you think Jackson is just a little… weird?" Vincent whispered. Pearce looked at Vincent.
"Yeah, I think he is. But he is a nice guy though." Pearce replied, looking at his phone for the time. They didn't technically start school today, but if you wanted to, you could go to a class and start early. Some classes, like a special training course, required that they start as soon as they get their schedule.
Jackson came back and Vincent went up to get his things. He had to have his uniform tailored, like some people, so he could fit his wings and tail through without being uncomfortable. Pearce watched the front desk and waited for Vincent to return. Jackson started a conversation.
"Do you ever do anything for Halloween?" Jackson asked, looking at Pearce.
"No, not really. People just take a look at me and assume I'm dressing up. Vincent always drags me along, he's so childish." Pearce said and got a goofy smile when he remembered when he scared some children by falling out of a tree and looking dead, and Vincent got all upset and gave Pearce's earnings to the children.
"Not to pry or anything, but are you and Vincent dating?" Jackson asked with a blush on his face. Pearce's jaw dropped and stared.
"No! No, we're just cousins. It may not seem like it, but we are. I prefer to call myself bisexual, because having to date one gender is just restricting. You can explore many aspects of life that way." Pearce said and then his face got dark.
"I hope you don't mind that, because if you do, I'm hoping that you'll respect my privacy and not tell anyone. Got it, Shifter Boy?" Pearce got up in Jackson's face, and just before Pearce's eyes completely changed from green to a red colour, Vincent whacked Pearce up the side of the head, which successfully snapped Pearce out of his trance.
"Thanks."
"No problem, I didn't want that dick showing his ugly face today." Vincent said with a smile and pulled Pearce up and shoved him towards the tailor. Pearce obediently walked towards the school's uniform tailor, who was this little green Imp with short black horns and yellow eyes. He was a master at stitching and sewing, and he earned his nickname Stitch.
"Hey Stitch, how are you?" Pearce asked as he stood on the pedestal while Stitch measured Pearce's body and accessories.
"Good, Pearce. How about you? Have any complications during the break?" Stitch asked, measuring Pearce's wings.
"Once, but it was only a small house fire, thank heavens for that. I didn't know what I would have done if it were anything bigger." Pearce replied as he extended his wings.
"That's good. Tail up." Stitch said and Pearce complied.
"Oh, I have a new design for you, Pearce. I came up with it over the break." Stitch said and wrote all measurements down, made Pearce strip and stand in his boxers. Stitch pulled out some black and grey striped material and cut it all to Pearce's size.
"This design is made to stretch with you as your body continues to develop, as well as this material. I already got the okay from the Headmistress, so don't worry. I did the same to your cousin and that Jackson kid. But Jackson's was made to transform with him, so that way, when he changes back, he's not stark naked, but looking like he did before he transformed." Stitch said and stuck the material onto Pearce and sticking pins through the material to keep it there while he stitched it up.
"That's amazing. What's the material made out of? For Jackson, I mean." Pearce asked.
"Shifter blood and Shifter fur. The fur was modified by a witch, and the blood came from Jackson himself. The witch cast a spell to turn the blood into thread, and to make the fur material to transform with him." Stitch replied, cutting slits for Pearce's wings and a small hole for his tail. He then applied some special thread to the edges that would make the holes grow as Pearce grew.
"That's freakishly cool."
"It is, and you're done. I'll send two more uniforms up later today. I'll see you around Pearce." Stitch said and ushered the boy out of the room.
"See ya Stitch, and thanks for the uniform!" Pearce called as he walked towards the front desk and received his class schedule, dorm room and key. Vincent and Jackson both looked up and whistled.
"Nice uniform. It's lovely." Vincent said.
"It's amazing, you look stunning." Jackson said with a small blush on his face.
"Thank you. By the way, Stitch told me about how your uniform was made, Jackson, and I have to say, it was quite the story." Pearce said and headed towards the door, Jackson and Vincent following behind.
"Yeah, it's quite amazing what the witches and Stitch can do." Jackson said and transformed into a dragon. The dragon's scales were a shimmering grey colour, and his eyes were a shining purple. Jackson's horns were curved, very sharp looking and a jet black colour. His other spikes and wing talons were an ivory colour, as were his claws. To prove that Stitch's story was true, Jackson transformed back into a human and his uniform was the same as it had been, not in shreds.
"Whoa, amazing." Vincent said with his jaw on the floor.
"That was an amazing display, why don't you do something a little less gay?" A feminine voice said from behind. Jackson turned around and looked in the direction of the voice.
"Oh, um, hi, Monica." Jackson mumbled, looking down as if his shoes were the most interesting thing in the world. Pearce looked and stared, and Vincent just stared at the roof, making it seem like the most interesting thing in the world.
"Pearce, hi, how are you? I thought I'd just drop by and check up on my little gay Shifter. Oh, and hi to you Vinnie. I know how much you hate that name, but since I heard your cute cousin call you such an affectionate name, I thought I just might use it. Anyway, I'll see you later Incest Boy, Gay Shifter and Psycho Daemon." Monica said in her highly stuck up voice, and her entourage lifted their chins as they walked past and continued down towards the year coordinator.
"I want to kill her so, so badly. You have no idea." Jackson said and walked fast, away from Pearce and Vincent, who then immediately followed quickly. They caught up to him when they were far from the school. It was then that Jackson slid down the trunk of a tree, wrapped his arms around his legs and buried his head in his knees.
"You guys hate me now, that you know my secret." Jackson said in a broken voice.
"No, I don't hate you." Pearce said.
"Neither."
"Really?" Jackson said and looked up with glassy eyes. Pearce smiled.
"Really." He replied and extended a hand to Jackson, who took it and hugged Pearce tightly. Pearce gave Vincent a look that told him to go do whatever he needed so that he could talk to Jackson. Vincent nodded and walked off.
"Hey, where'd Vincent go?" Jackson asked, looking around.
"I gave him a look that said he needed to go so that I could talk to you." Pearce said and led Jackson out of the forest and sat him on a bench.
"Okay, what did you want to talk about?" Jackson asked, watching Pearce as he sat down.
"You. Tell me anything you need to. You heard Monica. She called Vincent 'Incest Boy'." Pearce said.
"Why did she call him that?" Jackson asked, a frown appearing on his face.
"Well, it was because... He and I were confused about our sexuality, so we asked Vincent's parents, I live with them since my family is all dead, and they said kiss each other and see what happens. We're technically not related, but we are because our fathers did a blood bond thing once. And we did kiss, and Vincent kissed me and Monica 'happened' to walk by. She thought that Vincent was coming onto me and that I didn't want it, so she basically screwed with Vincent's mind until he stopped. He was mentally screwed up for days, so Monica being a witch isn't exactly the best thing." Pearce replied, his face tinted with a faint pink colour.
"Oh, well, that makes more sense now. Monica found out about me by somehow stealing my journal from my room when it was locked and she bloody read it. I told that journal everything; from when I found out I was more attracted to guys more than I was girls, to my first, and only so far, crush on you. Two years..." Jackson said until he realised what he said and who he was speaking to. Jackson's face turned a bright red and he hid his face in his hands.
"I'm sorry." he mumbled through his hands. Pearce chuckled and pulled Jackson's hands away from his face.
"Don't be. I've had many confessions, but none as honest and apologetic as that." Pearce said with a small grin. Jackson looked up and smiled.
"Thanks, it's nice to know that you're okay with me being gay and liking you." Jackson said.
"That's alright, and I did say that I was bisexual. Come on, let's go find your room. I think they renovated to fit three into one room cause of limited space, and more students." Pearce said and stood up, pulling Jackson with him.
"Yeah, what room are you in?" Jackson asked, pulling out his dorm number. Pearce looked at his.
"Number 312, what about you?" Pearce asked and Jackson's face lit up.
"312. Awesome, we're roommates. I hope that Vincent's in the same one too." Jackson replied and started walking up the stairs to the third floor.
"He better bloody be, or I'm requesting that he be moved into ours." Pearce growled.
"If you don't mind, why are you so insistent upon Vincent being your roommate?" Jackson asked politely, hoping not to annoy the daemon even more.
"Just cause he's the only one who knows how to deal with my problem when he rears his godforsaken head." Pearce said and bounded up the stairs. You damn brat, you are talking about me! Chaos yelled from the depths of Pearce's mind. I don't need your damn commentary, Chaos. You're just being a dick, Pearce shot back and attempted a block against him.
"Oh. Is it bad when he does?" Jackson asked when they started up the stairs to the third floor.
"Oh, it's very bad. He set a house on fire!" Pearce said and waited on the top of the stairs for Jackson.
"Oh, that's bad. Okay, 312 should be on the right side, the ones with the balconies." Jackson said with a grin on his face, and Pearce smiled, liking how Jackson seemed to lighten a mood with the smallest of things. The found the room and saw that the room's door was already opened. They looked inside, wondering who was in there.
"Pear! I was hoping that you were my roommate! Oh, and looks like Jacko is our other one!" Vincent said and looked up from unpacking his boxes. Pearce and Jackson nodded and walked into the room and looked around. Three beds, one on each side and one in the middle, a door leading to a small bathroom, a sink and a toilet, and beside each bed is a wardrobe and two desks in the corners of the room.
"They did a really good job renovating this place, huh?" Jackson said and sat on the opposite side of the room.
"Yeah, looks like I have the middle bed." Pearce said and sat down on his bed. He never brought his own clothes, he always had to have them tailored because of his wings and tail. He never really needed anything to entertain him as he was always in class and doing his school work.
"Jackson, where's your stuff?" Vincent asked, putting the last of his things away and sitting on his bed.
"Well, I don't have anything. My parents were human, not Shifters. They abandoned me as soon as they found out I wasn't human. So I have lived my life as a baby animal until I was old enough to enroll here. I did show up here stark naked in the middle of the night by some daemon..." Jackson trailed off, obviously remembering something awkward.
"I was tired and weak and filthy from days of travelling, and when this daemon found me, I had kissed the person and held on tight while the person, I'm sure they were male, took me to the school." Jackson finished, his face a little red. Pearce looked like he was having a mental struggle, and then it stopped. His face went pink and he walked out of the room, saying something like he needed to get something.
When Pearce had found a tree branch that supported his weight, the branch was up high in the tree, he sat on it and thought about the night that he had found Jackson lying on the ground, looking half dead. He remembered that he had kissed him, and how he had wanted to kiss back. He didn't know how long he was up there for until another weight landed on the tree branch. Pearce looked up into the icy blue eyes of Jackson.
"Jackson, what are you doing up here, let alone find me?" Pearce asked and sat up straight. Jackson moved closer and sat cross legged in front of Pearce.
"Well, after you had been gone for hours, Vincent had gone down for dinner. I asked him about you and he said he'll come back when he wants to. I didn't listen, so I turned myself into a wolf and sniffed where you were sitting and found you up here. So, why did you leave when I mentioned the daemon?" Jackson asked and Pearce shifted.
"That daemon was me." Pearce replied and looked ready to jump down. Jackson saw the small movement and attached himself onto Pearce.
"Don't jump off. Please. I'm glad that that daemon was you, and no one else. If it were anyone else, I didn't think that I could bare it." Jackson mumbled into Pearce's shirt. Pearce relaxed and pulled Jackson into his lap.
"Look at me, Jackson." Pearce said and Jackson lifted his head up and looked at Pearce. Pearce lifted Jackson's chin up and bent his head towards Jackson's. The hesitation between the two was quite obvious.
"When you kissed me when I saved you… I wanted to kiss back." Pearce whispered, their heads close enough for their breaths to mingle. Jackson moved a bit closer.
"I was hoping that you'd say that." Jackson said and crushed their mouths together. Pearce wasn't expecting the force that came behind it, and they toppled out of the tree.
"Aahh!" they both screamed. Pearce opened his wings and one caught onto a sharp tree branch, puncturing the wing and making Pearce scream out in agony. Pearce landed on his back on a hard rock and sharp jolts rushed up his spine.
"Pearce! Oh my god, are you alright?!" Jackson said frantically. Pearce groaned in response and tried to sit up, but his back sent more painful jolts up his spine and he cried out. Jackson decided that he needed to get Pearce to the nurses office, so he shifted into a wolf and slid under Pearce, who then cried out and so Jackson stopped and thought about what he should do.
He transformed back into his original form, and decided to go find Vincent. He shifted into a Roadrunner (Yes, it is a real bird), and ran at the fastest speed he could. He found Vincent eating something that looked like noodles at a table by himself. He quickly shifted back into a human and shouted out.
"Vincent! Pearce is hurt, bad, and I can't move him without hurting him even more. Help!" Jackson said a little loudly. Vincent jumped in his seat and looked up.
"You found him? Okay, where is he?" Vincent said and jumped up, abandoning his noodles. Jackson told him where and Vincent flew off towards Pearce. Jackson quickly turned back into a Roadrunner and followed Vincent.
When Jackson arrived before Vincent, he turned back into a human and told Pearce that Vincent was coming.
"It's alright, Vincent's gonna be here soon. Help is coming." Jackson whispered and Vincent arrived not too long after that.
"Okay, where is he hurt?" Vincent asked.
"His back and a punctured left wing." Jackson replied. Vincent nodded and placed his hands on Pearce's forehead. A bright white light flowed from Vincent's hand and surrounded the puncture wound on Pearce's wing and spread on the ground under his back. A few agonizing minutes later, Vincent collapsed and Pearce sat up slowly, moving his wing around and flapping it for good measure.
"Vincent! You shouldn't have done that, you know how much that drains you!" Pearce scolded.
"Well, Jackson came running and he was really scared, so I did it. For him." Vincent smiled and passed out.
"Vincent?" Pearce asked.
"He's passed out, he weakened himself too much." Jackson launched himself at Pearce and hugged him.
"I'm so glad you're alright! I was so, so worried and it was all my fault. If I hadn't of kissed you, we wouldn't have fallen out of the tree, you wouldn't have been injured and Vincent wouldn't be—" Pearce shut Jackson up with his hand.
"Quiet. It's not your fault, okay?" Pearce said slowly and Jackson nodded.
"Now, are you going to be quiet and help me bring Vincent to our room?" Pearce asked and took his hand off Jackson's mouth.
"Yeah, I'll help. After all, we are friends, right?" Jackson asked as he shifted into a horse. Pearce lifted Vincent up onto Jackson's back and jumped on behind Vincent.
"Yes, we all are. Now, let's head to our room." Pearce said and held onto Jackson's mane tightly as he galloped towards the dorm building.
I would love it if you, my Pandas, would tell me what you all thought! Please, R&R, so I know what you thought of it!
