Distracted:

To experience the world without my footprint

To learn from the mountains their millenia of wisdom

To stare at the stars and wonder of their lives

To feel the soul of everything without distraction

I don't want anything other than

To see life how it was intended

Without distraction

I'm here but not present

I travel across time

To see the world as it was, as it is, as it will be

Blessing and a curse

To have to remind yourself to see what's infront of you

I understand everything

But I know nothing

I am cracked inside

My soul cracking under pressure

To wish I become eternal

But everything passes

Everything loses its brilliance

Mountains once high and confident

Now stooped and humble

Seashells drifting across the universe,

Slowly fading

I feel the age of my soul

The awareness making my life ironic

If only I could remember how to forget
