Happiness Gone

Out of my sadness

Comes my tears

Flowing down my cheeks

Some caused by my fears

I wish I could be at peace with myself

I wish I could find the happiness deep inside

But I can't find it

For it is buried

Deep within the darkness

It is locked up

It has been for many years

But I have lost the key

And I don't know where to find it
