Smile

Today I smiled

And for once it was real

For once happiness is what I feel

When will this feeling go away?

It never lasts more than a day

I don't want it to leave me

Please don't go!

But deep inside I know

I know that it will leave

Just like everything else

That is how all this began

But I have learned

Learned that soon darkness will overcome me again

Then I will wait

Wait for happiness

Wait for another day

A day when I will smile again
