But you want your life to end
When you talk about your past
I have to think fast
To think of what to say

You hide all you feel
Sometimes I don't know what's real
You always try to smile
But you can cry once in awhile
You say I've touched you in such a way
Then why don't you want to stay?
I'm afraid that I'll get that call
Saying that you took that fall
You tell me that no one would shed a tear for you
Don't you realize that it's not true?
It's definitely a lie
Because I would cry
If you think that no one will care
Just remember, I'll always be there
