Who's the Father?

~isabelle

Disclaimer: I don't own my friends but I do own Tracy and the setting of the Beyond and all the other characters.

Btw, the ‘fish on a stick' thing was from this Weiss Kreuz fic. (the OMG one…the one with Schudich pregnant…) Sorry, I had to use it. ^-^ The idea isn't mine!

Realm: Unknown

~*~

Bella rolled over on her head. "Ugghhh…" She felt awful. "Damn…" The fire guardian got up from her bed groggily and limped to the bathroom.

It was midnight in the strange realm. The place was amazingly like Earth, but different in a strange way. The girls had demanded separate condos when they learned that each condo only had ONE bathroom. The boys, not really caring, shared the condos in pairs. Tobias and Dan shared one and Kevin and Sean shared the other.

Totally silent.

MOST people were sleeping.

Tracy awoke (ALONE) on her bed. Her stomach felt strange and she felt her empathy picking up something. She shut her eyes and concentrated.

Suddenly, her eyes snapped open. Tracy nearly flew out of her bed. Slipping into some clothes, the air guardian ran out on the beach and to Crystal's condo. She charmed the door open and stomped up to Crystal's room.

"Whaaa…?" came Crystal's groggily voice.

"BELLA'S TANGOING WITH THE TOILET!!" Tracy hissed rather loudly.

"WHAT?"

"She's going to hurl."

"Oh."

Crystal opened the door, her hair in a mess. "So what? She's sick. She'll get better."

"If she was sick," Tracy hissed," then why am *I* feeling it with my empathy?"

There was silence.

"Alright, lets go," Crystal grumbled.

The guardians skipped Lucky's condo in fear of the beauty sleep lecture. They proceeded to Kiora's and Sabriel's condos and then ran to Bella's.

Not bothering to knock, the female realm warriors walked right in. Bella's head was seen in the toilet. "Uggghhhh…"

"What's wrong?" Kiora asked.

"I dunno… I didn't have that many crabs…I think," Bella groaned. She limped back to bed and flopped down. "Why are all you guys here?"

Sabriel pointed to Tracy. "She felt your sickness with her empathy."

"That can only mean one thing," Tracy stated flatly. "You're not sick."

"Then what am I," Bella muttered.

Tracy held her hand over Bella's stomach. "I suspect…oh damn…" Tracy shrunk back. "Oh lord…but you took…right…?"

"What? What's wrong with me," Bella asked, getting up.

"Yeah, what's wrong with her?" Kiora and Crystal asked the same time.

Tracy sweatdropped. "Eh~heh…" She told them.

Flop.

Bella fainted.

"SHE'S PREGNANT?!!?" Tobias shrieked as he fell off his bed. "How…WHO…"

Tracy sweatdropped again. "I dunno…"

"But, didn't she take THE pill?" Tobias's voice almost came out in a squeak.

"I think she did. She's sorta passed out right now so I can't ask her."

One of the first things Queen Alexandria made the girls do was take this pill. She explained that it would stop their periods so it wouldn't disturb their missions. Secretly, the girls knew that was only partially the reason. See, thousands of years with teen hormones was rather…overwhelming. (Hey, Tobias is a perfect example! ^.~ Though he did a pretty good job of containing it for the first few thousand. Though when Tracy came…it doesn't need anymore explaining.)

Tobias buried his face in his hands. "Who's the father?"

"Erm…we dunno…"

"Do the other guys know about this…"

Tracy sweatdrop increased size. "Can't you hear the screams?"

"WHAT!?!?! HOW?!?!?" Kevin nearly screamed.

All the realm warriors and archangels were gathered in Bella's condo. Lucky was still snoring away. Bella was still barfing into the toilet.

Kevin stared at Tracy. "I'd always thought you would be the first one to get pregnant." He got a faceful of pillows.

"I took the pill."

Bella looked up. "I took it too. I guess it had some side effect on me."

"Bella," Sean began," who was the last guy you slept with?

"Uhh…I don't remember…"

"I'm not sure that's a good thing," Sabriel muttered. "I mean, it could be that she slept with so many, she couldn't count…or it could—"

"Sabri?" Sean spoke up.

"Hai?"

"You think too much."

The archangel blushed every so slightly.

"Who's going to tell the Queen?" Dan asked.

There was silence.

"Okay, here's the deal," Tobias spoke up. "We don't tell Mom until the baby comes out. Deal? I mean, you should see Mom fuss over pregnant woman…" Tobias sighed a small mushroom cloud.

"Woman," Bella squeaked. "I'm still a teenager."

Tracy grinned wickedly. She made a magazine appear in her hand and handed it to Bella. "Here. There's something in here about teenage moms."

Bella weeped. "You're so cruel, McGinnis." She then stopped and deathglared at Tracy.

Dan continued as if reading Tobias's mind. "I think it would be best if you girls stayed at home for Bella." At the deathglares he added, "I mean, its not that I'm being sexist or anything, but it is sorta true that you guys would be better taking care of Bella than us. We'll take all the missions and cover for you guys."

"And plus," Kevin pointed out," WE had to take care of Chibi-Tobias."

Tobias's eyes narrowed dangerously and Kevin found another pillow in his face. "Shut up. That was by ACCIDENT!!"

"And do you think this is on PURPOSE!?!?" Bella snapped at Tobias.

"Hey!" Tracy shot at her.

"Protective…" Bella teased then hurled again.

Lucky threw a pillow at all three of them. "Shut up," she muttered. "I'm trying to sleep here." She went back to snoring the world away.

Sweatdrops all around.

Bella got hit almost fell in the toliet. "LUCKY! WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO!??! GET MY HEAD STUCK IN THE TOLIET!??!"

"Zzzzzz…"

And so it began…

The next morning, the girls let Bella sleep in late instead of pounding her door open like how they usually do. They were gathered in Tracy's condo, having breakfast.

Lucky got up and yawned. "So, what do we do?"

"What do you mean?" Crystal asked. She hadn't gotten a good night of sleep, either. Then again, none of them did, other than the guys. They could sleep through an earthquake if they wanted to. (However, Tobias wouldn't be able to sleep if Tracy screamed. ^^;)

"What do we do about the baby? Lets face it this way. If the baby gets born, what do we do? Bella can't handle a mission and a baby the same time."

Tracy's morning mind wandered as she drunk her coffee. (Scene in her mind: Bella preparing for a huge spell while everyone is helpless. Suddenly, her watch beeps. "Ahhh…I gotta go change a diaper!" Bella shouted as she ran out of there. Everyone sweatdrops.) Tracy choked on her coffee. "I see Lucky's point."

"Well, whaddya know," Kiora said dryly. "Tracy actually spoke nicely in the morning."

"Shut the hell up."

"I knew it couldn't last."

Tracy just glared at Kiora and went back to her coffee and the horrifying images in her mind. (X_x)

"Some one should check on Bella," Sabri muttered. She glanced at the clock which read 11 o'clock. "I think she might have slipped into a coma."

When no one moved, Tracy sighed. She reluctantly put her coffee down and ran outside to Bella's condo. Unlocking the door herself, she walked in.

Bella was still dead to the world in her bed.

"Bella?"

"ZZZZZZZZZZzzzz…"

"…"

Tracy walked up the window and opened the shades. Sunlight poured in…on Bella's face.

"AHH!" Bella shrieked as she got up. "Where's the fire!!??"

"Rise and shine," Tracy grinned, her morning haze slowly wearing off after the coffee.

"You baka," Bella groaned as she flopped back onto the bed. "It's too early."

"Dude, it's 11."

"EXACTLY."

Tracy rolled her eyes. "On days of missions, you woke up at 4 am."

"Well, I'm pregnant. I would have sworn I read about women being pregnant needing sleep."

"That's after a few MONTHS."

"How do you know?"

"…"

"Well?"

"I'm the damn goddess of…fer—"

"Okay, I get the picture." Bella slowly got out of bed. She wore red pjs with strange designs on them. (Don't ask.)

Tracy turned to the door and was about to leave.

"Tracy?"

"Hmm?" Tracy turned around. "Yeah?"

"Do I look fat?"

Tracy facefaulted. "Dude, it's basically the first day…NO."

"But it's not the first day. I mean, who knows how long I've been pregnant!"

Tracy did not want to ponder on that disturbing thought. "No, you don't look fat. Your stomach looks fine." She walked out, leaving a relieved Bella.

The air guardian returned to her condo, which was two condos away from Bella's.

Crystal looked up. "How is she?"

"Fine," Tracy muttered.

"Seriously?"

"Lets just say it's gonna be a long nine months…"

One month later…

Bella could not believe it. A whole box of Ho-hos in ten minutes! "Lucky!!"

Lucky walked in the room, counting the budget. "Yeah?"

"I need another box of Ho-hos!"

The water guardian sweatdropped. "But that's your fifth box today!"

"I know."

Lucky looked back down at the money. "I dunno…I don't know how long this will hold."

Bella rolled her eyes. "Dude, we have PRINCE with us. Tobias has an endless budget! Go ask him for money."

"Oh, right."

Tobias blinked as he looked up from his laptop. "You want to buy ten boxes of Ho-hos…?"

One month after that…

"OH MY GOD!!! OH MY GOD!!" Bella freaked.

"What?" Sabriel looked up from her manga. "Are you okay…?"

"IT'S SHOWING!!!"

"What's showing?"

"The lump on my stomach…"

Sabriel sweatdropped. "It's gonna show sooner or later…"

There was silence.

The archangel turned to look at Bella. The fire guardian appeared to be frozen in shock, paralyzed.

"Uhh…Bellanca?"

One month after that…

"Tracy?"

"Hai?" The black haired girl looked up from the spellbook she was reading.

"Can you get me a fish on a stick?"

There was silence. Tracy let her enchanted glasses slide down her nose as she stared at Bella. "Fish…on a stick?"

"Yes, fish on a stick."

"Trout?"

"Salmon."

"Salmon on a stick," Tracy repeated carefully.

"Hai."

Tracy blinked several times. Slowly, the air guardian got up. "Anything else?"

"No."

"Okie…" Tracy walked out the condo with a strange expression on her face.

One month after that…

"Okay, lets try this one more time," Kiora looked up from the instruction manual. "Shouldn't you be taking classes about this or something?"

Bella glared at the archangel. "There is no way I'm walking into a classroom. I'm too young and everyone will stare."

Kiora shrugged. "Okay, breath in and count to three. Breath out and count to three. Do this for three times."

Bella breathed in. One. Two. Three. She exhaled.

And choked.

Kiora smacked herself with the manual. "Can't you exhale normally?"

"Sorry," Bella sighed. "It's just that it feels strange to breath so deeply and hold it. It's strange for my throat."

"You're weird." Kiora gave her a strange look.

One month after that…

"Bella?" Tobias stuck his head into the condo.

"Upstairs!"

Tobias ran upstairs and appeared in the room. "Tracy ask—uhh…what are you doing?"

Bella was in front of the mirror with a ruler. She shrieked and reached for something to strangle.

Apparently, Tobias happened to be the only other living thing in the room with a neck.

"My stomach is almost a half a foot wide!! AND ONLY FOUR MONTHS!!" She throttled Tobias.

"ACK! Bella! Get off of me!!! BELLANCA!!"

Bella stopped after a while and started weeping.

Tobias sighed. "What can I get for you?"

"…can you get me another salmon on a stick…?"

"…"

One month after that…

"You've gotta be kidding," Kevin's eyes were wide in shock as he watched Bella chug down more orange juice. "That was your TENTH gallon…"

Bella set down the empty container and shrugged. "The baby is in demand."

"Uhh…here's some Ho-ho's…" The male water guardian handed it to her, carefully.

Bella snatched the Ho-ho's and ripped the bag open. Within two seconds, she finished the snack off. She looked up at the frightened Kevin. "When's dinner?"

"Dude…we just had lunch…"

"Really?"

Kevin blinked several times. "Are you still hungry?"

Bella nodded as she reached for another bag of Ho-ho's.

"Oh no," Kevin said as he grabbed the bag from her. "You're eating something healthy." He reached in the fridge and dumped a bunch of celery and carrots along with dip in front of Bella.

The fire guardian glared at him. "When have you become Mr. Mom?"

Kevin grinned. "Oh you'll thank me. If your baby comes out retarded, don't blame me."

Bella gulped and started eating the celery, carrots, and dip. QUICKLY.

One month after that…

"Come on Bella," Crystal said. "We're gonna have to go shopping for the baby anyway! Are you ashamed?"

"I AM NOT ASHAMED."

"Then why do you refuse to go to the mall?"

"…"

Crystal grinned, knowing she had Bella backed into a corner. "Come ON."

"Awww…isn't this cute," Bella sighed as she fingered a baby t-shirt.

Crystal blinked. "What?"

"I said—Oh my god, I'm becoming more and more mom-ish."

"Yup," Crystal muttered. "You know you're becoming a mom when you lose sight of your feet."

"WHAT!?!"

"Nothing, nothing."

One month after that…

Dan was keeping Bella company.

Actually, Bella was sleeping and Dan was reading a spellbook with enchanted glasses. (Like brother, like sister)

Suddenly, Bella awoke. "Dan?"

Dan looked up. "You're awake. That's good. Hungry?"

"Nah. Could you tell me a story?"

Dan blinked. "A bloody one?"

"No, a nice and fluffy one."

A sweatdrop emerged from Dan's head. "Okay…" Bella was becoming more like a mom as each day passed. That…was scary.

"Once upon a time…there was a princess…"

Bella sighed happily.

Half an hour later…

"…and they lived happily ever after…Bella?"

The fire guardian had fallen asleep on his shoulder, drooling.

Dan's eyebrow twitched. Damn. His throat hurt.

2 days later…

"HELP ME!!!!!!" A scream was torn through the middle of the night.

"Uggghhh…" Crystal rolled out her bed. "What's wrong…" She limped upstairs since she was sleeping in the guestroom in Bella's condo. "Huh…"

"MY WATER'S GOING TO BREAK!!! AND IT'S NOT EVEN NINE MONTHS!!…at least, I don't think so. I lost count…BUT HELP ME DAMNIT!!!"

Crystal's eyes snapped open. "Okay, that's disturbing." She went to the first person she could think of when she was in deep shit.

Tracy.

"Why does everyone come to me," Tracy grumbled as Crystal babbled something that didn't quite make sense.

She blinked. "Please translate that."

"Bella thinks her water is going to break."

"WHAT!??!" Tracy stumbled out of bed and threw on a jacket as she ran to Bella's condo. "Get everyone Crystal."

"Everyone?"

"Yah, no one is gonna want to miss this." Tracy winked as she disappeared into the darkness of the condo.

"Eh~heh…"

Sean wheeled Bella (in a wheelchair, of course) into the hospital. The female fire guardian had a slightly crazed look on her face.

The others were held up outside for severe speeding.

"Hey," he snapped at the doctor. "She's gonna have a baby!" Sean pointed at Bella.

"How bluntly put Sean…" Bella said dryly.

The doctor glanced at him. "Are you the father?"

"NO."

The doctor shrunk back at the look Sean gave him. "Okay, I get the idea. Put her in room 250. I'll be there in a second."

"Uggghhh…I'M GONNA PUKE!!"

Sean wheeled Bella to room 250 was expert agility. That means, when Bella got into the room, she was not only in pain, she was dizzy.

"SEAN! YOU BAKA!!"

Sean glared at her. He was in cranky mood, since it was late at night. "Look, if your water broke in the middle of the hallway, you would thank me."

She could not argue with that.

The doctor and two nurses arrived shortly. Right after them were the others.

"Is she okay," Tracy asked to the doctor.

"She's fine. However, Bella seems a bit young—" He stopped at the many deathglares of all the realm warriors and archangels.

"Uhh…never mind," the doctor muttered as he slipped on gloves.

The nurse went up to a pain-stricken Bella. "Just breath in and out smoothly."

"Don't choke," Kiora helpfully added.

"Uhh…thanks Ki," Bella said dryly. She breathed in and out, WITHOUT choking.

"Now, push," the nurse said.

Bella pushed. She spoke suddenly. "You guys, I just want to tell you that you've been the greatest friends…"

"Awww…" was heard.

Suddenly, a flash of pain.

"FORGET IT!! I HATE ALL OF YOU!!"

"Uhh…"

"But you guys were always there…"

"Awwww…"

Another spasm of pain.

"SHITSHITSHITSHITSHITSHITSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Uhhh…"

"She dishes it out on us…" Lucky muttered.

Suddenly, Bella felt relief. The pain had ended and crying was heard.

The doctor held out a baby. "It's a boy," the old man said as he held it out to Bella.

Bella smiled, despite the fact of being exhausted. She took the baby, who's face was wrapped up.

Slowly, she un-wrapped it.

"Oh my fucking lord…" Bella nearly died.

"What's wrong?" Tobias asked.

"It's…it's…IT'S…

Bella sat up from her bed. "LORD REKKAN!!!!"

Suddenly…she realized something…

"It's a dream…it's a dream…" she muttered over and over again.

Suddenly, her stomach rumbled.

Bella rolled over on her head. "Ugghhh…" She felt awful. "Damn…" The fire guardian got up from her bed groggily and limped to the bathroom.

She halted. This sounded too familiar.

Then, it hit her.

A scream tore through the night.

Tracy and Crystal looked up from playing cards. Crystal blinked. "Was that just Bella?"

"Yeah," Tracy sighed. "I told her not to eat all those crabs…"
