It's hard to look "angry at the world" when you have a hole in the toe of your socks...

I had a dachshund once in my life, her name was Tyke, and this dog's main purpose in life was to chew holes in all the dirty laundry. If she wasn't sinking her teeth into a pair of my bright white cotton socks, she was (I kid you not.) digging through piles of laundry, flipping the underwear in side out and chewing on the crotch. Now, I don't get all new socks every 3 years, so I still have quite a few pairs of socks that Tyke had masticated once or twice.

Okay, here's the scenario. Imagine if you will, a 15-year-old girl, insomniac, having her "you-know-what", been at the friggin' tennis match for 3 hours, hungry, cold, and sitting in her sister's red Grandam with her feet hanging out the window, proudly sporting her South Park shirt and her best "look at me the wrong way and I'll bite your head off" face, and FULLY ready to go home...
