Blood on my Window

Blood on my Window

By: Kawaii_Kitty

The blood of the clouds above hits the deck as the sky groans in

Pain.

A large gash has been ripped in the cloud’s side, where no eyes

Shall ever see.

The blood from the airborne body comes to us as “rain”.

But, if you look very closely, you can even see the pain and

Suffering in each drop.

A higher being is suffering, and we disregard it, or see it as a

Nuisance, or, sometimes a blessing.

The sky turns grey as it mourns the cloud’s agony and watches

Helplessly as the cloud slowly dies.

The blood hits my window and trickles down slowly, leaving its

Trail of pain behind it.

I turn my eyes from the sight, grumbling about how it reminds me

Of the pain and suffering of another human being.

It reminds me that the blood of another was spilled as thousands

Watched, and clouds weren’t the only ones to suffer like this.

One man gave his life and his body to the souls of millions around

The world, so that others may live their lives freely.

I gaze at the now cloudless sky and sob, now realizing the fate of

All clouds should not be this way.

These heavenly bodies are giving their lives every day, so that

Others may live…

Just like Jesus did, so long ago.

A/N: Gasp! Kawaii_Kitty has written something religious! Has she the BRAIN WORMS!? No, no, no. I am feeling just fine. I wrote this during rainstorm while I was depressed. I thought about how rain is just like the blood of Jesus and of course the mighty fine soldiers who fight in wars, may they rest in peace. I hope you enjoyed this poem.

Disclaimer: Oh, Geez, do I have to write one for a religious poem? …Fine. I do not, nor will I ever own Jesus Christ, Clouds, Rain, blood, windows, decks, pain, suffering, or anything mentioned in this poem. I just arranged the words so that they made a pretty poem. *Ducks from rotten fruit barrage as the readers complain that the poem sucked*. Fine, be that way! *Gets hit in the face by a rotten cabbage* please review! It doesn’t take that long! *Wipes cabbage juice from her face*
