Sometimes I fear,
and I just can't
stand--
I am reaching
blindly,
to find your
outstreched hand.
But here in
the dark,
with no light save
for stars;
I recall the radiance
of the angel that
you are.
It's alright--
it's okay when I
have you;
yes it's alright,
we always made our
dreams
come true.
I can just close
my eyes
to
the dark that
consumes--
for everthing's alright,
when I have
you.
Some days I cry,
and I just
can't go on--
I am failing
horribly,
to right my
savage wrongs.
But here inside
my shadow,
where I hide and
pray to die;
you guide me to atonement and
you help me reach
the sky.
It's alright--
things are bright when I
have you;
yes it's alright,
together we
can make it
through.
If I just close
my eyes then
I know
that
it's true--
that everything's alright,
when I have
you.
Some nights I break,
as I choke on
my pills--
I am wondering
which is worse,
the cure or
that which kills.
But here inside
my darkened prison,
where I bleed on
jagged bars;
you take my hand and
heal my eyes,
to finally see the stars.
It's alright--
I can breathe when I
have you;
yes it's alright,
you are the hope
I never knew.
When I just close
my eyes
then
I've found
something new--
that everything's alright,
when I have
you.
A light inside
my darkness,
your virtue clears
my sins--
perhaps my life had
ended,
but now I can begin . . .
And it's alright--
the future's pure when I
have you;
yes it's alright,
I feel like something's
finally true.
I can just
close my
eyes,
and I know
we'll
get through--
for everything's alright,
when I have
you.
I can just
close
my eyes
to
the dark that
consumes--
it's finally alright,
since I have
you.
