Have you ever stopped and looked at the ocean?
Wondering what it is that keeps the water in motion?
Ideas swim around amongst the animals of the sea,
In the ocean, thoughts are accepted and can be free.
What about a lake confined by land all around?
Are these small ideas clamoring to make a larger sound?
Am I to believe that a lake is where tiny thoughts abound?
Is it possible that these ideas are merely waiting to be found?
And if they are not discovered, do they rot away?
Is the bottom of a lake an idea waiting to decay?
Can they run to a river with all of their might?
Hoping to make it to an ocean outlet by midnight?
Are they impatiently waiting for a human mind to come along?
A working brain that will mold an idea into something incredibly strong?
If this is true, then were the ideas in the ocean discarded?
Ideas that were deemed to be too wild are no longer regarded.
