“No, I haven’t forgiven him, how could I?” Michelle sighed deeply into the receiver. It had been months since her best friend, Jordana, had worked up enough courage to mention Vin in her presence. It seemed that ever since Michelle and Vin had broken up, no one talked about him much.

“Well, then you’ll just have to ignore him Friday night, because he is going to be there, that’s for sure,” Jordana explained, feeling slightly sorry for both Michelle and Vin.

Michelle grimaced. It was her senior year of college, she was about to graduate, and everything seemed to be falling in place. She had the grades, the friends, the guys, everything. Now she would either have to suck it up and face the one man she never wanted to see again, or miss her senior party that Friday, which would be the biggest party of the year. “It isn’t his year to graduate. He had his own damn senior party, and he still wants to ruin mine!” Michelle’s hand began to ache from how tightly she gripped the receiver in her hand. “He wants to go to the party and make me jealous, but he won’t get me worked up about it. Hell no...” she paused, knowing that he had already gotten her worked up about it. “He hates Taye, correct?”

“Yeah,” Jordana was unsure what idea Michelle had up her sleeve.

“Well, let’s just say that Taye and I get along pretty well, I’ll go to the party with him on Friday, and that way Vin will avoid me. I mean, you’ve seen the size Taye has gotten lately, girl!” Michelle was partially right. Taye had become very well built over the last year, but he wasn’t as big as Vin was during his senior year, or the last time Michelle had seen him. The last thing anyone wanted was for Vin and Taye to go at it again, but Michelle would do anything to avoid confrontation with the only man gutsy, and stupid enough to cheat on her.

She had always been a major bitch to every female except Jordana, who seemed to creep over to her good side. Michelle wasn’t the class president type of girl, or the kind you’d take to meet your mom, but she was very sexy. She had deep chestnut hair and large emerald eyes. She dressed provocatively, yet not in the normal pretty girl way. She wore bad ass looking outfits such as camo. pants with a matching bra and see through shirt. All of the guys wanted to get with her because of her full breasts, and tiny waist; not to mention that she had a very forbidden look to her. She was a full blood Cuban woman, and didn’t take shit from anyone. While all of the other girls were paying their way through college with waitressing, she was working part time as a mechanic in a repair lot, and hoped to someday be a pro-race car driver (she temporarily had to settle for street racing).

Any man she had ever been with had usually gotten the brush off from her, but Vin was different. She found herself falling for him in more ways than one. She wanted to be with him all of the time, and she wanted him to WANT her. Being quite the ladies man, Vin didn’t have a hard time getting himself multiple women. One night after an extensive fight with Michelle about how sexually she continued to act towards guys although she was with him, he slipped, and woke up the next morning in bed with a hoe named Sarah, with Michelle’s sorrowful eyes glaring down on him. After he had managed to pick all of his clothes off of the sidewalk, he was too proud to talk to Michelle ever again. And that was where it rested, for one and one half years, they simply didn’t talk.

“You got a date, m’ lady?” Michelle tried to keep herself from thinking happy thoughts about Vin, because each one of them made her long to be in his arms.

Michelle knew the answer before she received it, but loved to hear the words from Jordana’s mouth, how cheerful she became. “Paul and I are going together,” Michelle could tell Jordana was smiling her sweet and innocent smile through the phone. Jordana was much like Michelle, she was even Cuban. Many people mistook them for sisters, and the only thing that convinced them otherwise was their opposite attitudes. Jordana was sweet to everyone, while Michelle was...err...not. They had been totally opposite only a couple years ago, but they had rubbed off on each other since the beginning of their college careers.

“You know that we have been dating for about 6 months now?” Jordana sat back on her bed, referring to her blond boyfriend. Michelle had hassled Jordana plenty about having the all American type boyfriend, but as she became to know Paul (Jordana’s b/f) better, it made more sense. They were both totally sweet and smiled carelessly like small children, plus Michelle got along fine with Paul.

“No, never would have guessed,” Michelle tried not to bring Vin up again, but gave into the desperation. “I’m going to wear that camo. mini skirt you got me for Christmas, and have been hackling me about, with that black shirt and camo. bra,” she was referring to the snow storm camo. mini and matching bra/thong set, and her black net (see-through) shirt. “I’ll make Vin think twice about going and sticking his dick in odd places when he’s pist for now on,” she chuckled to herself, although Jordana didn’t share in the laugh. Jordana had once been close friends with both of them, and understood that they had little fights, but never guessed it would have gotten to this point. Vin had graduated the year before, and Jordana had heard nothing from him since, until he called her to tell her that he would be at the party for sure.

“See ya then, Michelle. I gotta go, it seems that my love bird is calling me,” Jordana had no need to stay on the line and have Michelle make crude jokes about how whipped she was, so she hung up. They had a wonderful friendship, which sometimes was hard on the both of them, yet they would NEVER sacrifice.

Michelle wasn’t actually planning on making jokes that time, she was too preoccupied with her little problem to say anything to sarcastic. She preferred to sulk around her apartment, sad at how lonely she was, and jealous (although she would never admit) of Jordana for her relationship with Paul. He was great. He played team sports, mainly lacrosse; and he surfed quite a bit. He was an aspiring actor that had dropped out of college the year before, and he seemed to be doing pretty well in that field.

Michelle took a deep breath, dialing Taye’s number. He was her only hope to prove to Vin, and herself, that she was truly over Vin.

“I’m so glad that you asked me, girl. ‘Cause I never would have had the guts to ask you,” Taye looked Michelle up and down, as he stripped her of her long jacket when they stepped into the already insane party. “Damn,” he shook his head, placing his arm around Michelle’s waist, causing her usual sense of sexiness to creep over her, but it wasn’t embarrassment, because she knew he was right.

“Hey, girl,” Michelle led Taye over to Jordana and Paul who sat talking a little too enthusiastically on one of the multiple couches. They embraced in a quick hug before Michelle smiled (a rare occurrence) sweetly at Paul. “Paul, hello. This is Taye, you may know him,” she motioned towards her sexy Jamaican date. Paul simply nodded, shy and quiet, as usual. “So, this is my fourth time coming here, and I am still unsure whose crib this is, you know?” she looked about the small group, not sure if they heard her over the music.

“It’s Mr. Marcus’ sons,” Paul sipped his beer, talking about Jason Marcus, whose father was the president of their college. “He’s got quite a bit of money it seems,” he stood up, pulling Jordana with him. “Let’s dance,” he smiled sweetly, as their lips met for a short, soft kiss.

“Us too,” Taye pulled Michelle out to the floor as “So Fresh, So Clean” came on. everyone loved Outkast, although it was kinda old, it was still kickin’. Michelle followed with her hand on Taye’s shoulder, hardly noticing the huge crowd that had formed on the dance floor.

Paul and Jordana managed to dance sweetly, although the music wasn’t, but Michelle and Taye got down and dirty. He bit lightly onto his bottom lip, as she slowly rubbed her body down his front side, making a small row of perspiration form above his brow. she turned, facing him, licking her lips seductively as their eyes held a strong gaze. They rubbed closer and closer, their bodies hot, ignoring the crowd that had formed around them as they danced dirtier than Michelle had for quite some time, since she and Vin had gone to their parties. Michelle smiled, as the crowd became apparent to her, and she whispered softly in Taye’s ear “it’s as if our bodies were built to move with each other’s.”
His eyes lit up, and he began to blush, noticeably. To Michelle, it was just another dance, and another guy that she would probably screw later on that night, but she didn’t realize how much more it was to the guys she was with. She didn’t realize how much it was to Vin, how much he actually loved her, and that was the reason it had hurt her so bad- she thought that by cheating on her he was saying that she meant nothing special to him, although he had been so special to her.

Michelle was lost in the music, and suddenly gasped when she saw him. There Vin stood, behind the crowd, next to Sarah (the hoe Sarah). She nearly choked on her tongue, and her mouth went dry. Taye realized something was wrong and turned to her, seriously, “you okay, hun?”

“Yeah, thirsty,” was all Michelle could manage out, and it wasn’t a lie. Her mouth had gone dry in that moment and she was truly parched. She shot a cautious glance at Jordana, who seemed to already know. Vin looked wonderful, absolutely. He had his head shaved, as usual, with just the shadow on it. He also had the five o clock shadow on his face, and looked very amazing, even though he wasn’t smiling his brilliant smile at the moment. His expression seemed so emotionless, empty, cold even. Michelle fell out of her paralyzed state, and suddenly became angry with him. “His expression is stone cold, just like his heart,” she smirked to herself, half-smiling. She regained her confidence, and joined Jordana. It was only one night that she would have to deal with hi anymore, so she decided to relax, and not give him the pleasure of seeing her upset.

As Taye edged through the crowd, back to Michelle, she stared coldly at Vin, who seemed to be his sworn enemy. “What is that ass hole doing here?” He turned to the group, not really expecting them to know.

“I had no clue he would be,” Michelle shrugged nervously. “Hey, Paul, I am going to steal Jordana really quickly for a game of pool downstairs,” she lied again, taking Jordana’s arm, leading her down the hall, and into the bathroom. She reapplied her pale lavender lipstick, and ran her fingers through her hair, as Jordana sat impatiently on the counter, waiting for Michelle to say something- anything. “Do I look okay?” she pressed her lips together, turning to face Jordana.

“Cut the shit,” Jordana became slightly irritated. “You’re not going to fuck Taye to make Vin jealous too, are you?” She folded her arms across her chest, looking at Michelle in a motherly manner.

“One, none of this is to make Vin JEALOUS, and two, no I am not going to fuck Taye. I am actually going to find the strength within myself to turn him down...err...somehow,” she stated matter-of -fact-like. She then edged towards the door. “I am so over Vin, it’s like we were never a couple, no big deal,” she shrugged sighing, but Jordana wasn’t so sure. As they stepped out into the hall, Taye looked at them, confused.

“I won’t even ask,” he smiled seductively at Michelle, as Jordana disappeared back into the crowd, more than likely looking for Paul, so she could leach back onto him. Michelle looked up and down the dimly lit hallway, it was completely empty, minus the two of them. When Michelle turned back to Taye, he pulled her face into his, making their lips touch. Michelle felt like letting him ravish her body right there, but Jordana was one person that she kept her word to.

She used all of her strength to push him away. “No Taye, I don’t think we should do this, especially not here,” she backed up, staring uncomfortably at the floor. She didn’t want to disappoint him, but it was better him than Jordana. She saw a look of surprise fall upon his face, when he looked around then, anxiously.

“I’m sure there’s at least one empty bedroom in this godforsaken house,” he tried to reassure her, leaning in to kiss her once again. This time she let him, but promised herself that it would be nothing but a kiss for tonight.

“You know where any empty bedrooms are?” Vin interrupted their kiss, smiling hesitantly. He didn’t seem comfortable, then again, it wasn’t exactly the best scenario.

Michelle pulled back from Taye, and realized that Vin meant for he and Sarah to go to. “We have dibs on the next open one,” Michelle responded, refusing to let herself become jealous of Sarah, and her sluttish ways. “But I am sure that the lawn is free,” she smiled smugly, referring to the rumor that had been going around that Vin didn’t actually only have sex with Sarah in their apartment that night, but also in the back lawn to the apartment building. “I hear that the sprinklers don’t come on until two am, so you can make it to someone’s bed by then,” she rolled her eyes, expecting a response from Vin.

“I see that you were mature enough to forgive me for my mistake,” Vin sighed loudly, running his hand over his head, smiling right back.

“You shouldn’t call her a mistake while she’s present,” Michelle rolled her eyes, walking past the two with Taye’s arm around her waist.

“Yeah, that’s what I told him about you before we came here tonight,” Sarah, smiling her perfect little innocent smile that made Michelle sick to her stomach. Michelle was ready to ignore that Sarah had said anything, and considered it only fair, until she progressed a little farther. “And I keep having to tell your mother that, too.” She lit up a cigarette, chuckling, although no one else seemed amused. Sarah walked happily past Michelle and over to the stereo, turning it off. “You see, Michelle. If anyone here is a mistake, it is you. All of us here made the mistake of becoming your friends,” she drew the attention of the entire party, including Jordana.

Michelle remained quiet for a few moments, pondering whether or not to seek revenge on the little blond daddy’s girl or not. She slowly walked up to Sarah, and sighed when she stood only a foot away from her in a circle formed by her “friends.” “You just totally tried to diss me in front of everyone, you tried to humiliate me,” she took a deep breath, swallowing hard as Sarah nodded, puffing away at her cigarette. “that’s just too bad, though. I think you and I could have made pretty good friends,” she started to walk away trying to remain calm, and shot Vin an evil look, as he stood smiling, seeming pleased that Michelle had become soft. this angered her even more, and she turned around, whispering to herself “awe, fuck it!” as she punched Sarah in the face, making her fall to the ground, with blood pouring from her broken nose.

“Let’s go,” Michelle mouthed to Jordana, since it was tradition for the two to go hang out at the river after the party. Michelle put up her hand, signaling for five more minutes, and Michelle nodded, heading for the spiked punch bowl. When she saw Vin standing there, she quickly approached him. “Not comforting your date?” she nudged him playfully, quickly regretting having done so.

“She deserved it. She didn’t need to say all of that shit, plus, she was my only mistake...not you,” he became suddenly shy and edgy, downing his glass of straight vodka. “I see you still have the fighter spirit,” he laughed, remembering how she kicked Jordana’s brother’s ass for pinching hers. “quite the bitch.”

“Haha,” Michelle walked away, frustrated. As she walked into the hallway, searching for Jordana, he grabbed her arm, spinning her around. At that moment, Michelle realized just how powerful Vin was, and how much she missed his strong hands, and powerful grip. He pulled her close to him, and their lips met, kissing passionately. She wanted more than anything to push him away and prove she was so over him, and strong, but she couldn’t. She wasn’t that strong, but Vin didn’t look down on her for it.

He pulled her into the bathroom where they started to strip each other of their clothes. “Did-I-tell you-how sexy you-look?” Vin asked between kisses, struggling with her bra. She worked on his belt buckle, feeling herself become hotter and hotter with each kiss, and each time their bodies bumped up against each other. He managed to pull her skirt and thong off and sat her up on the counter where Jordana had been sitting before. He grinded his pelvis into hers, anxious to be inside of her. She noticed his massive erection underneath his boxers, which was another aspect she missed quite a bit.

“Oh my God, Taye and Jordana are going to kill me,” she leaned her head back as he dropped his boxers, continuing to kiss her passionately. “I am supposed to go to the damn river with them,” she felt every inch of her body ache with desire, as he ran his hands down her back, and onto her ass, picking her up off of the counter.

“I saw Jordana and that blond guy slip off together, into one of the bedrooms,” Vin reassured her, as he glanced down at the body he held tightly in his powerful arms. He had missed her soft skin, and rough kisses. Her style and technique in bed was extraordinary, and he longed to feel that good inside and out again.

“Paul..” Michelle responded, and froze as there was a knock on the door. After waiting a moment, there was another knock, and the two screamed at the same time “fuck off!” They stood there frozen for a few moments, and when there was no reply, they began to devour each other once again. Vin pulled a condom from his pant pocket, rolling it on quickly before picking her back up, and sitting down on the toilette with her. As they began to intensify their thrusts, it was as wonderful as it had always been for them. Michelle gripped the walls, moaning loudly as her body began to ache with pleasure. Their sweat dripped onto each other, and neither of them minded. they continued to kiss, and both let out their final moans as their bodies started to shutter with orgasm.

For a few moments, they just stayed like that, their bodies intertwined and hot with passion. When Michelle finally climbed off, she took a towel, drying the sweat from her body, and slipped her clothes back on. Before she left to go with Jordana and act like nothing happened, she had one last long stare at Vin. Sure, they had just made love, but if that was all that it had meant to him in the first place, then it didn’t mean that they would be together. Not at all. Michelle fought to hold back the tears that she so desperately wanted to cry on Vin’s shoulder, the tears that were swelling up inside of her for how much she still loved him.

“So, tell me you’re not mad at me for taking so long with Paul,” Jordana noticed how quiet Michelle seemed as they stared at the sky over the river, drinking their beers, “Oh, I hardly noticed,” Michelle sighed calmly. “I am more worried about how much Vin...err...Taye hates me after tonight,” she had put Vin’s name in because she couldn’t stop thinking about him. “He must think I am a real bitch, blowing him off like that,” she yawned, stretching her muscles, which were both tense and sore after that party.

“Oh well, if he just wanted to get laid, then shame on him, not on you,” Jordana always seemed to try to cheer everyone up, especially Michelle. She always tried so hard, and it always helped, even if Jordana had no clue what she was talking about like that moment.

“If I had sex with someone else tonight, and Vin...err...Taye and I aren’t really dating, does it matter,” Michelle silently cursed herself for making that mistake twice. She was sure Jordana would catch on now, and then she’d either be extremely happy, or extremely pist. And she was right.

Jordana turned from Michelle, and stared out at the water, pondering how to word what she wanted to say. “Is he still really good?” She looked at Michelle, smiling as usual. She always found the bright side of things, and she knew how Michelle had come to except her relationship with Paul because Michelle was happy for Jordana as long as Paul made her happy. So, Jordana decided to be just as supportive. “Don’t get shy now, Michelle. Is he?”

Michelle simply nodded, trying not to start crying. “yeah, but I have this sick sense that tomorrow he’ll be back with that broken nosed bitch, and tonight will have been nothing but one of his few mistakes,” she sighed running her fingers through her hair. “If so, that bitch won’t have to wait it out until her smoking kills her,” Michelle let a single tear roll down her cheeks that burned with sadness.

“I really hate to say it, but he’s just a guy. I mean, sure he’s not an All-American dork like my boyfriend,” Jordana sighed, although Paul was not a dork at all. “Instead he’s a sexy Italian guy with a smile that melts your heart, but he’s just a guy. Sure he may be your soul mate, and it may be your worst mistake ever to let him go, but oh well, he’s just a guy,” Jordana hoped Michelle would catch on.

“It seems like your trying to tell me something,” Michelle laughed calmly.

“If he’s just a guy, well then think- you are too wonderful for him to not notice that you’re not just a girl. You can’t let him get away because of how great you are, not him,” Jordana spelled it out for her. “Plus, you never smile anymore like you did when you were with him, and neither does he,” she shrugged sarcastically. “No biggy,” she put her arm around Michelle’s shoulder, pulling her in for a tight hug.

Michelle climbed out of her bed, and got up to brush her teeth. Her inner thighs were still sore because she hadn’t been that passionate for quite sometime. She pulled her long, straight hair back into a sloppy ponytail, and applied some light lip-gloss , sliding into her gray sweatpants, and white guys tank top (a.k.a. wife beater). She was going to jog over to the gym for her daily routine (it’s not like she was automatically in shape, no one’s that lucky). as she slid on her running shoes, someone rang the doorbell. She was sure it was Jordana checking up on her like a good friend, after they had gotten so smashed the night before.

She opened the door, cheerfully screaming “hellllloooooo, m’ lady,” then she realized it was Vin, and backed up, unsure what to think.

“Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t I supposed to say that to you?” He smiled cockily, looking her up and down. “Going to the gym?” He became serious again, studying her expression, which seemed very confused. “why go pay to work out when we can do it all right in here?” He stepped inside, looking around. Not much had changed since he had moved out, except his leather furniture was now traded in for emerald velvet which suited Michelle much better, since (believe it or not) she was more about comfort than looks. She didn’t work out to impress anyone, but so that she’d be comfortable with her body, and she dressed so sexy, because that’s the way she felt like she was expressing herself the best.

“Why are you here?” She backed up, knowing that he meant his comment sexually. “any special reason I should know about?” She sat down at the kitchen counter, pulling herself an apple from her basket. She observed that he seemed slightly unsure himself, and put off by the statement. To break the awkward silence, Michelle added, “Taye is going to kill you because he is sure that you raped me, and I don’t remember,” she rolled her eyes, passing him an apple. When she realized he was still confused about her question, she then added “I thought you would be Jordana, she usually stops by after parties,” she shrugged trying to keep the conversation small, as to avoid him telling her that it was a big mistake the night before, he was drunk, blah blah blah... She ran out and grabbed the paper, saying hi to the paperboy as he rode by. “He has a crush on me,” she smiled goofily at Vin, who sat down at the kitchen table, biting into the apple she gave him, slightly uncomfortable.

“Don’t we all?” Vin smiled sweetly back. “What I was going to tell you sounded so much better in my head earlier. Now I’m not so sure that I am ready to talk about it,” he stood up, inhaling just how beautiful Michelle was even now when she had just gotten up. He walked up to Michelle, hoping to get a hug before he left.

She misinterpreted his advancement, and backed up, angered. She stared at him with disappointment, registering what to say to him, when she felt like saying nothing at all. “You can’t just come here whenever you want, and expect to get some!” She felt suddenly flushed with anger. “Sure, I was in a giving mood last night, but don’t expect me to be like that everyday Vin, I am not going to do that. Even I have feelings,” she laid her hand on her chest, and stomped into her living room, curling up on her couch.

“That’s seriously what you thought? That I came here to get fucked?” Vin shook his head, sadly. “I came here to tell you that I made a huge mistake,” the words that Michelle didn’t want to hear at all, slid off of his tongue. “I’m so sorry,” he took her hand in his.

Michelle took a deep breath, and the tears started to roll down her cheeks. “So, I was just a mistake,” she wiped the tears from her eyes, and slapped him as hard as she could across his face. “I would rather you have never called or came by, then have you tell me that.”

Vin smiled, running his hand through Michelle’s hair, and resting it on her cheek. “No, I don’t mean you. I made a huge mistake when I realized I loved you so much that it scared me. I tried to find some reason not to love you, and I tried to blow that fact of how sexy you were out of proportion, and made it a bad thing. I got so mad that I made the mistake of looking at Sarah like she was something she wasn’t...you,” he looked Michelle in the eyes, honestly drawn to her every action, like Paul was to Jordana, and visa versa.

Michelle was frozen with embarrassment, and love. All she could think to do was to slap him again, then pull him in for an intense kiss. “You ass hole, you embarrassed me,” she stood up, and he climbed up off of his knees.

“I’ll make up for it later,” he smiled sweetly, kissing her, as she trembled with such extreme emotion. “Wanna go to the gym for now, hun?” he licked his lips, subconsciously wanting more than anything for her to kiss him.

“Why go to the gym when we can work out here for free?” Michelle smiled, pulling him in for another kiss, happier than ever knowing that he was eternally hers.
