Ansiando: Beginnings
by Angela D

Notes: Okie dokie. I'm working on drawing this. It's turning out really cute. So I'm putting the story up here to see how it's recieved. If the reviews are good, I'll put the manga version up on my site soon. I'm really nervous about this cuz it's my first time doing something like this. Please be gentle...oh yeah, if you're not a shonen-ai/ yaoi fan...you might not wanna get to into this. It comes...in full force... and my grammar and syntax really suck...originally this was in a script format so :P

She tugged the red shirt over her head. The kahki skirt would look good today. She stopped. She saw it. The same vision and dream she'd had for the past few months. Exciedingly strong today, she knew. "He's coming today." A smile crept across her face. She didn't know who the boy with his long bangs dyed red and the glasses was, but he had a good aura in her visions. It could only be a good sign. And they were getting an exchange student from Japan today. It had to be him. The smile set on her face, she left for school. She left to meet him.

He hated backpacks. He really did. There was nothing he hated wearing more. But he wanted to just fade into the crowd. He didn't want anyone to notice him. He just wanted to be normal like everyone else as he walked into his new school. He didn't want the attention of being the new exchange student. All he wanted...
He stoped and stared straight ahead. A girl with blond hair wearing a red t-shirt and a kahki skirt smiled at him.
"Hi! You must be the new exchange student. Japan, right?"
"Yeah."
"What's your name?"
He had a moment's debate wether or not to tell her his name, but growing up polite he answered, "Kisaru."
"I'm Corrin." She remained bright and happy as she continued "Hey! why don't you come to lunch with me. I could show you around and..."
He shrugged her off. "Leave me alone."
Not the reaction she had really expected from him. He'd take a little work, but she did feel it. It was him. "You have a power, Kisaru. I know. I have it too..."
He stopped. Shocked. A smile slowly came across his face. Maybe...he didn't have to be alone. He turned around and said brightly "You mean you understand? Then I'm coming to lunch."
She smiled again. "Great! That smile looks cute on you!"
His smile faded as he turned around. "I'm suprized you don't understand that."
And then she noticed it. looking back at that quick moment she noticed it. And it bothered her. He spoke perfect english. Without an accent.

It was homeroom. The time of the morning where no one cared if your CD player was on or not. And that's just what he was doing. Listening to the CD he burned the night before. Though, he did have to stay alert. Corrin had told him about the new guy. And he was supposed to be in homeroom.
He heard the teacher's cheery voice over his music. "Class, please welcome our new foriegn exchange student."
He lowered his headphones, ran his hand through his short black, scruffy hair, and opened one eye to look at the boy.
"I'm Kisaru Hinoto," he said. "I'm from Tokyo, Japan"
Yup, that's him, he thought. Better say hello. (So you're Kisaru.)
Kisaru looked in his direction. (Who are you?)
(I'm Sean. Corrin told me about you.)
(You mean that girl?)
(Yeah...very...peppy. Hope she didn't scare you off. So what's your power?)
(I don't know)
(That's interesting. You gonna meet us at lunch?)
(Yeah.)
(Great. Oh, Corrin was right.)
(About what?)
Sean winked. (You are cute.)
Kisaru let out an "uuuuuhhhhh..." as his eyes widened and his glasses slipped down his nose.
Of course, the teacher was confused as to why Kisaru was still standing in front of the class. "Mr. Hinoto," she said annoyed. "You may take your seat"
Kisaru let out an embarassed smile, fixed his glasses and said very cheerfully "Oh, of course!"

All three entered the computer lab for first hour.
Sean laughed. "So you weren't just following us"
Kisaru was annoyed. "I told you. Computers was my first class. Five times."
Corrin giggled. "You hafta forgive him. He's an idiot."
"Am not..."
"Thing is, we're supposed to get a new teacher today too..."
Sean looked at Corrin. "'Cuz of the 'incident'"
Kisaru was curious. "'Incident?'"
Sean was scared. "It was scary...he...just snapped and..."
The bell rang and they all sat in front of the computers.
Sean eyed the ice cream that was sitting on the teacher's desk hungrily. Then he wondered why it was there...and why did it have to be chocolate chip cookie dough!!
"Good morning," said a voice. They looked up to see a younger teacher, with scruffed, messy hair, standing in front of the class. "I'm your new computer teacher. My name's Jonathon Doyle. He picked up the pint of ice cream. "It said in the paper I got that your other teacher had a 'Mental Breakdown'?...right...anyway, he had a test planned for today. And you're gonna get one."
"Dammit!" Sean whispered harshly. "I didn't study. I already don't like this guy..."
"Toldja..."
"Um..it's my first day and..."Kisaru tried to plead.
Mr. Doyle didn't hear them so he continued on. "But...I didn't know what you were studying. So I made up my own test." He ate a spoonfull of the ice cream and passed out the test. "Good luck."
Sean looked at his test questioningly:

Sean couldn't believe it. "LUCKY!! I like this guy"
Corrin just stared at her test. "What the hell kind of test it this?"
Kisaru was also confused. "Is this what they mean by the American school system being not so good?" He turned his head to see Mr. Doyle working seriously on his pint of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. "I think he likes Ice Cream."
Mr. Doyle stared at Kisaru.
Then Kisaru heard it. (You mean me?)
Kisaru was suprized. (Did you hear that?)
(Hear what?) Sean asked.
(I think Mr. Doyle is telepathic)
(You're kidding!) Corrin came in. She looked at Mr. Doyle, who's spoon was hanging out of his mouth. He was watching them. (He can't be one of us)
(But...I heard him)
(Knock it off, you three!)
Sean stared shocked, as did corrin.
(He..is...)
(It...can't be. I didn't forsee this...he can't be. He's too old. Everyone else is our age)
Mr Dolye pouted (I'm 23. I'm not old...and what do you mean by 'one of us?')
Kisaru looked at Sean and Corrin. (Meet us at lunch)
Sean and Corrin glared daggers at Kisaru who just smiled at them.
