The massive pile of cheaply made Mexican food sat on the table. Kisaru had paid for the whole thing, and suprizingly had the money to do so. Sean and Corrin were very impressed. Kisaru looked around the Mount Everest of Tacos at Sean. "So...where do we start?"
Sean grabbed a soft taco and a packet of Fire sauce (which isn't really hot at all). "Grab a taco and start eating. We've got plenty."
Corrin rummaged through the pile and found a box of Nachos Supreme. "MINE!" she exclaimed, hugging it, yet careful not to ge anything on her shirt
Kisaru timidly took out a double decker taco. Sean had reccomended them. He could trust Sean, right? He took out a package of Hot sauce on Corrin's reccomendation and began to eat. He smiled. “It's good.”
“You like? Here. Have the one I was going to eat,” Sean said, handing Kisaru another taco.
Corrin gasped. “You're giving him your favorite food in the whole of the universe? You beat things senseless when they come within a mile of your tacos. Why don't you just ask him to marry you already?”
Sean whacked Corrin with a cinnamon twist since it was the only thing that looked remotely like a weapon. “Corrin, we just met today...”
“Ah! So you plan to at some point.”
Kisaru was turning redder and redder.
“No I don't. I'm not even sure if I...” Sean stopped himself. If he finished the thought, would it hurt Kisaru's feelings? Why did he care? He just met the guy after all. He mumbled something.
“What was that?”
“Nothing, Corrin.”
Corrin smiled. He's interested, she thought to Kisaru. He doesn't act like this unless he's interested.
Kisaru took his turn to glare at Corrin as he bit into his second taco. Stop playing, Corrin. The way you go on, I'm not even sure he's...that way...
Are you?
“Hey, I'm feeling left out over here.”
Kisaru looked over at Sean. Yes I am, he projected to Corrin.
“Well, I'll just leave you to figure Sean out for yourself.”
“Figure what out?” Sean asked confused.
“You'll find out in due time Sean. And Kisaru, yes, I know the answer.”
“ANSWER TO WHAT?”
THUD! Something at the window distracted them from the topic on hand. Bob had his face squished against the window.
“AAAAH!...oh it's just Bob.” Sean went back to eating.
You...left me at the arcade.
Heh...sorry. We got hungry! Corrin said apoligetically.
Want some?
NO I DON'T WANT...is that chicken?
Yup! Beef too.
Can you sneak me in?
Corrin looked at Kisaru. “Go flirt with the guy at the register. I'll let Bob in.”
“WHAT? THERE'S NO WAY!”
“You're cute. Distract him.”
Both got up as Sean watched utterly confused. What was going on? He wasn't sure anymore. Then the author whacked him with a smart stick and he caught up with the plot.
“Thanks.”
“Anytime.”

Kisaru leaned on the counter as Corrin walked to the door where Bob was waiting. In a psuedo secductive voice he said, “I like tacos...do you like tacos?”
The counter boy reached over and pulled Kisaru into a kiss. Corrin paused slackjawed as she held the door open for Bob who walked over to the table and started munching away on a chicken quesidilla. Sean nearly dropped his taco.
Kisaru blinked a few times before the counter boy said “Sorry. We had a bet going.”
“A bet?”
“Yeah. I said if someone actually tried doing that whole “I like tacos” thing, I'd kiss them.” He turned his head to the girl working the drive through. “AND NOW SANDY OWES ME NACHOS!”
“Go to hell...No! no not you sir!”
“Right” Kisaru said, nodding. “...I'm going to...go eat now...”
“Have a nice day!”

“Oooooooooooookay...so...um...weekend...what are we going to do?” Sean said in an attempt to finalize plans as he drove Corrin, Bob and Kisaru home.
Corrin raised her hand in the air. “Road trip! With Bob! Oh oh! Let's bring Mr. Doyle along too!”
“That sounds like fun. I'd really like to see California.”
Sean smiled at Kisaru. “You're excited aren't you?”
Kisaru nodded. “Yes. I've always wanted to come here.”
“Good. We'll have fun then. Corrin. We're at your house.”
“Right! I'll see you guys tomorrow at school! Bye now!” She exited the car and went into her home.
“She's nice, I like her,” said Kisaru.
“She's been my best friend since we were in Kindergarden. We were meant to be friends, ya know? As annoying as she can get at times, she's still the best friend I'll ever have.”
“You're very close...”
“Ever had a friend like that, Kisaru?”
Kisaru's eyes went wide as he gasped. He shook his head. “We had a bit of a falling out, I'm afraid.”
“I'm sorry to hear that.”
“Hey Sean. Have you ever considered Corrin to be anything more?”
“Nope. And I doubt I ever will. She's like a sister. I know most relationships go that way, but I don't see it like that with me and Corrin. She's so hung up on Jay and I like guys right now...oops...” Sean realized what he'd just said and there was no cover for it.
“Right now?”
“I'm not really sure what I am. I guess bi. I've had a girlfriend...and a boyfriend...I kinda liked him better and...WHY AM I TELLING YOU THIS??”
Kisaru shrugged. “Though I'd ask.”
“Where are you staying at?”
“Are you driving towards your house?”
“Yes. If you don't tell me, you're stuck at my place.”
“Down this street. We live close.”
“Do you mind walking? This is my house.”
“Huh. That one's mine.” He pointed across the street.
“The Clarks? They're creepy.”
“Tell me about it...”
“They must be thrilled you speak perfect english. They aren't that...cultured...”
“I no...speak...english well...” Kisaru said thick with accent. Then returned to normal, “When I'm around them...they're just so...bouncy. It's scary!”
Sean laughed. “You want a ride to school tomorrow?”
“Yeah! That would be great!”
“Ok. See you bright and early.”
“Good bye Sean!”
“Bye now.”
Kisaru walked across the street and entered the house?
“Kisaru!” The overly “Leave it to Beaver without the children” couple exclaimed, horribly misprounouncing his name. “How...was...school?”
“I...enjoy school very very much.”
“Did you meet any friends?”
“Levine-san brought me...home.” he said when really he wanted to scream out “STOP TREATING ME LIKE I'M 3 YOU FREAKS!”
“Levine-san? Do we know a Levine-san, honey?”
“I don't think so...”
“His name is Sean.”
“Oh! The boy across the street. Oh he's nice, dear.”
Kisaru sighed. “I'm...going up to my...room.”
“Have a nice night, Kisaru!”
Kisaru dashed up the stairs as fast as his legs could carry him.
“What a nice boy. His english got better in one day.”

Kisaru collapsed on his bed. He took out a stuffed cat. “Ugh...I don't know how long I can take this, Mr. Kitty! Still...Sean's nice...maybe I'll like it here. What do you think?”
He moved the cat's arms and spoke in a squeaky voice. “You'll like it just fine, Kisaru-kun!”
Kisaru smiled and started on his homework.
