The Jamfic

Once upon a time, there was a peaceful city that dwelled by itself.
The city's name was Gogsville, and it was flourishing. It was becoming
bigger and more populated than the biggest cities in the United States.
Everyone wanted to live there, it was the place to be. That was where things
were happening, thought the people who fled to Gogsville so they could be a
part of it.
Sadly, as we all know, great things don't last forever. The greed
and hatred of somebody will certainly ruin everything someday. That's how it
happened with Gogsville. It was a great city, of course someone had to be
jealous of it. A man who produced bombs and explosives came to the great
city. His name was Joe Snuff, and he wasn't joking. He planted explosives all
throughout Gogsville, and didn't even offer a ransom! He just wanted the
city gone, plain and simple, no matter what it took. What were the source of
his actions? Not money, because he didn't offer a ransom. Power? Maybe.
Perhaps he wanted to rule Gogsville. Or maybe it was just pure insanity. No
one will ever know for sure.
The government of Gogsville talked seriously and fearfully about the
horrible matter. What could they do? They couldn't find the bombs, because
unfortunatly, Joe Snuff was very skilled in making explosives (he went to the
Blow-Up University), and he made them invisible and impossible to find on
radar. There seemed to be no hope for Gogsville. They didn't want it
destroyed, especially not now when it was doing so beautifully. What could
they do?
Finally, one of the head government officials, a small man who was
also president of the nature club, had an idea. He said, "This seems to be
an impossible problem, so therefore to solve it we must do the impossible. We
obviously can't do the impossible, but there are people who can..."

"The 18 strongest people in the world!" everyone cried.

"That's right," the small man said, "we must call on the legendary
18. They come from all different worlds and universes, but if they worked
together, I'm sure they could solve our problem."

"Well, what are we waiting for?" a man yelled. "Let's contact them
right now!"

So the mayor of Gogsville walked over to the corner of the room,
where there was a large brown trunk. He opened it, and pulled out a gigantic
horn. Then the mayor walked over to the open window, stuck the horn in his
mouth and gave a mighty blow. Nothing was heard, because the sound of the
horn was so high that no one could hear it aside from the legendary 18.

* * * * * *

All across the different places in the world, 18 pairs of ears
perked up.

A young Chinese boy said, "That sounds like it came from
Gogsville..."

A rugged man in a gruff voice said, "There must be trouble..."

So from all the different parts of the world, the 18 people came to
Gogsville by car, bus, plane, boat, spaceship, or they just flew there. They
all arrived at the Gogsville government meeting room at the same time. The
mayor smiled with relief. They'll take care of this, he thought.

"Welcome, Han Solo, Scud, Deadpool, Wolverine, Batman, James Bond,
Solid Snake, Wufei Chang, Sam Seed, Boba Fett, Luca Brasi, Micheal Corleone,
Superman, Dan Turpin, Punisher, Jedi Luke, Buddy Lee, and Spike Spiegel," he
greeted them.

The 18 looked around at each other in wonder and amazement.

"I have called you here because the city of Gogsville needs your
help. We are in a dire situation, and there is nothing we can do about it, so
we called on you people," said the mayor.

"So what's the deal, bub? What do you want us to do?" Wolverine
asked.

"Well," the mayor said, "A man, Joe Snuff, who is very experienced
with explosives, is threatening our city. He has placed bombs and dynamite
all throughout the city, which are impossible to find. They will blow up in 3
hours, so we need your help. Will you do it?"

"I think I can say for all of us that this is a big problem to
handle. Even for all 18 of us. I say we should combine forces," Superman
said.

"Combine forces?" said Wufei. "We would be working together anyway."

"Yeah, what do you mean, Supe'?" asked Spike.

"I mean truly combine. We should assimilate into one person, one
man, and make him the most powerful person in the universe," Superman said.
