Darken the heavens
Twisting around my veins
Black and poisonous
The cancer infest itself
Creeping within the light
Shadows dances in rejoice
And turns to dark light
That sweet yellow sun
No longer deaden by disease
Feasting on its very heart
For so many moons have pasted
Yet still never a white moon
Ever passive, never a fight
To fight which we had become
The battle has already been won
And in victory we do not stand
Tears drop from the heavens
And my soul cries out
For what have we done
But there is only peaceful
Silence from the heavens
And the ever-present blackness
