{Quick author note: I realized I used the same character name for another one of my stories, so I'm going to change that one and keep 'Matori' in this one.}

The Rose that made me Bleed.

-Act 1- Grenslev: part1

"Do finish the job, before I grow tired of you." her still, yet demanding voice echoed through around the room, fixating only to the ears of a young woman in front of her.

The young woman scoffed, "These people you want dead are not as easy as you say they are." her annoyed tone matched her expression. She stood still, waiting for the other's response.

Silence filled the room before the respected lady spoke up once more, "I'm giving you a week to get rid of these pests, or you will be replaced."

Giving a small hiss of annoyance, the young woman calmly turned around and exited through the door of the dark office. She was soon stopped by another lieutenant, such as herself, though this was a man she despised, for he was sure to be her replacement if she screwed this up.

"Has she sentenced you to hell yet, Majora? Or has she spared your life once more?" speaking in his mocking voice, the man held back his will to laugh. He was tall, 6'2" and rugged and his messy dirty-blonde hair cascaded over his eyes of crimson red. He had an extremely long trench coat that's open on the front, showing his gray slacks and navy blue undershirt underneath.

"What do you mean 'to hell yet'? I'm already there." Majora retorted back, carefully speaking low so that the woman in the other room would not hear. She watched him keep silent, possibly thinking, and thought of the reason why he might be here. "So, what are you doing waiting out here?" she paused and cocked an eyebrow, "Are you here to suck-up and grovel to the mistress?"

The man shrugged, releasing the cigarette smoke from his lips and taking another breath of it. He moved closer to Majora, dragging his large red trench coat behind him, "You know I don't need to suck-up. The mistress prefers me over you, so I don't need to waste my time worrying about you getting ahead of me."

Majora glared at him angrily, "You wish, Kento. You know I have better access than any of you others have. Perhaps you have forgotten that I am a Grenslev."

"And I suppose that makes you special?" Kento remarked, seething smoke out of his mouth.

"Perhaps you didn't hear me correctly? Majora Grenslev, of the Grenslev Royal Family." she gave a wicked smile, "My family owns this corporation and its school and-"

Majora was interrupted by Kento's laugh, "Ha, and you only managed to take control of less than a quarter of the 'family jewels'. The rest is your sister's and her advisee."

More ticked-off than before, Majora grumbled incoherently and rushed down the hallway without turning back to Kento.

Kento watched as the girl power walked furiously down the hall; he gave himself a victorious grin and proceeded to walk through the hydraulic door in front of him.

As his pupils expanded from the darkness of the room, he was startled by the soft yet stern voice of the lady in the room.

"Kento, you know I don't want you bringing cigarettes in my office." she simply stated.

"Oh." Kento turned to look at her, "Sorry about that Matori." He quickly smeared the lighted end of his cig on his callous palm, feeling only a slight heat, and threw what was left of it on a trash can nearby.

The woman who was known as Matori, gave an annoyed grunt. She sat behind a large black desk, hidden in the shadows of one corner of the room. She kept her head tilted to one side, resting it lightly on one hand; the other hand was kept on the arm-rest relaxed. With the help of the moonlight shining up to her desktop, her lips of red and the tip of her nose was the only things able to be seen clearly on her face. Kento could tell she had her eyes closed in concentration and that she was about to speak up to him when her the top corner of her eyebrow twitched slightly.

"Lady Matori, Kento. Even if I knew you since long ago, you have to address me correctly or you'll have to pay." Matori opened her eyes, darting her dark-blue eyes at the man across the room.

Kento stiffened at her glance, "Yeah.. sorry, I forget sometimes." He forced a grin at her, "So, how's it going?"

Matori slit her eyes at him and kept silent.

"I just saw Majora exit out a few minutes ago, and I was wondering why she was so upset." he almost pondered to ask that question, seeing as Matori's eyes warned him not to get into it.

Instead of another annoyed grunt, Matori gave an eery smile, "Some business she was supposed to take care of, has not reached its closure. She had agreed to finish it well over a week ago, and yet it hasn't been done."

Kento seated himself at the nearest chair, "So how many other rebel groups do we take out after this? I mean, I know we're only eliminating the insignificant but our original plan was to attack The Red Domain Clan. We're talking about a possible war here, Matori. I hope you know what you're doing."

Matori suddenly stood up. She brushed the her silky black hair over her shoulder, and straightened her black suit. She opened her eyes, which were ablaze in anger; she spoke harshly, "Are you questioning my strategy?! I've managed this far without my father's help and yet you still argue over what I do!" she slit her eyes dangerously at him, "We've been through this Kento, enough of it or I'll have you thrown into prison."

Kento took this in and quickly brushed off what he was about to say back. Silently standing up, Kento headed for the door, leaving Matori in a state of shock.

Upon seeing his reaction, Matori grew more angry, "Address me properly before you walk through that door or I'll have the guards dispose of you!!" she shouted loud enough for others to hear it outside her office.

Hearing her idle threat, Kento turned his face to her, "You know, Lady Matori," he paused and gave her a pathetic look, "You really need to get out more." With that, he made his way out of the office. It wasn't soon that he heard a loud slam of a fist to a wall, coming from inside the office, and a high aggravated scream.

Kento placed a smile on his face, and lit another smoke in his mouth. He then began to sing a song merrily as he walked down the hall to find Majora; hoping he would be able to apologize to her about the earlier events.

"Majora, your sister's a bitch." he said aloud-particularly to no-one--and continued walking.
