Frosty
Visits Florida
By Ariel D. Smith
One
day in winter, a girl named Annie built a snowman. She looked all through the house to find the perfect hat, but
every hat she found just wasn't right.
Then she looked in Grandpop's old trunk in the attic and found an
ancient top hat. It was perfect! Once she put it on her snowman she thought
she saw his arm move. "I must be seeing
things," she said. Suddenly, the
snowman started to dance around. He
told her his name was Frosty.
She had many adventures with Frosty, but this
one was the best. Once in the middle of
winter, Annie told Frosty she was going to visit her Grandparents in Florida. She would stay at Disney World. Frosty knew he would terribly miss her, so
he started to think of a plan. He would
put his clothes on with dry ice inside.
It might make him look fat, but it was his only chance. So he hopped on the plane to Florida with
her. Once they got to the Magic
Kingdom, they started walking around and going on rides. (Frosty bought tons of ice cream.) On their way to a show, a man walked up to
Frosty and said, "Hey, you're on in 15 minutes. Get your costume on!"
Frosty tried to explain, but the man wouldn't listen. Frosty was worried that he might melt on
stage. Once he was dressed in his
Mickey costume, the man came back and said to go out on stage. Once frosty got out he realized he had
nothing to worry about because it turned out to be a Disney on ice show, and
Frosty was a natural born skater. The
rest of the vacation was fun. This is
only one of the great adventures Frosty and Annie had over the next few
years.
