A PLANET OF TELEPATHS

It seems to me we have become
A planet of telepaths
A planet undone

Instead of seeing things as they are
We warp their image
Bleed their scar

We change them so that we can
Sleep better at night
For cutting that guy off
At the red light

He was cutting in you say quietly
It doesn't matter anyways
He was he and I am me

This trouble with Bin Laden is examples plus
I don't like what they did but
We get shown pictures from ten years ago
Making us hate all Afghanies, us not in the know

See our vision is warped
Like a carnival mirror
Be it by modern media
Beamed by aentenna

Or by our parents words
Or neighbours opinion
Whatever it is
We don't seem to look into it

We just seem to see with past experiance
Or just a blatant lie
When we should see with what we're meant to
We should see with our eye
