I Can’t Tell You

I can’t seem to find my way of telling you

You make it so hard, you know?

I really wish you could love me, too.

Of course we’ll be friends but, so?

When the truth comes out, what then?

You’ll leave me, and I’ll be alone.

And I know we won’t still be friends.

Will I have anyone else to love? No.

I will never tell you how I truly feel.

You would never forgive me, no doubt.

It wouldn’t work after that, you see?

At least we’ll be friends, for now.

But why does it have to be so hard?

The pain I have is too much to bear.

And my tolerance is small, by far.
