New Puppies

They're adults, see? Always worrying
about something or other...bills, or
affairs or leftovers from dinner.

It's cause they always have to be
remembering everything! We're
different, kiddo. We remember just
all the good things. Like ice cream
and daisies and laughing and
chalk unicorns on the sidewalks.
Like finding a dollar
under the pillow after putting a
tooth there the night before. Like
Christmas presents and new puppies.

That's why we live the good life. We're different. We're kids.

Welcome to the little league, big guy.
