The secret to life

I remember one day as I was riding in the car with my father, we talked about all the usual stuff like how I did in school or current events and things such as that, but then when we got to talking about life, he said something that even to this day I would never forget, he said, " Son I'm going to tell you something your grandfather told me before he passed away, he said that in life we will never know what will be up there ahead of us and that we should always be prepared for anything." Then I spoke up almost without thinking about my words, " But you can never be truly prepared right?" "Exactly and that's the secret to it, you just have to have faith and keep going no matter what happens."
