You sit all alone and watch the world go by
No one seems to like you, but you don't know why
You get down on your knees and pray to god above
Please send me someone that I can hold and love
At night you become restless, filled with anxiety
You only want to find the one who'll set your spirit free
You search for years on end. never giving in
But this is a game you cannot beat, or cheat and try to win
You begin to loose your faith.your soul is growing weak
You have become so depressed that now death is all you seek
You finally get the courage to try and follow through
But there is always that nagging question. "Is this what you want to do?"
You see yourself flickering.like a dying star
Separated by so far, no one knows who you are
Your soul has become broken you feel like you could die
But you still ask god on a daily base.why oh why oh why
Then one day it hits you.your time is running out
The pain and agony inside makes you want to shout
Your walking down the street, with you r head hung low
Never really knowing or caring, which way you want to go
And then you finally see her, standing by the street
You heart no longer gets excited or even skips a beat
You decide oh what the hell, I guess I'll say hello
So you walk up to her, and say to her.. which way are you going to go?
She looks at you kind of. Strange, and then she starts to smile
And she proceeds to respond.. "I've been waiting for a while."
You sit down and you talk for hours about many different things
And then you go and ask her "are you doing anything."
She smiles and says no.. and that's when you reply
"Would you like to go out and do something sometime."
You've been together now for god knows how long
And your love is still as flawless as a perfect love song
You love her more than anything in the world; she's your baby girl
And she feels that your love is an unbelievable whirl
She will always love you and that is not a lie
And now you've finally found the one for whom you would gladly die
You have finally found true love a profound happiness
And now you hold her in your arms and finally your soul can rest
