.1.1 Spring

One morning,

I heard the birds

Chirping happily

Outside my window.

The warm rays of the sun

Caress my face.

A light breeze tousling my hair.

The flowers of spring

Just beginning to blossom

And so I know, spring is here.

Summer

School is over,

The sun shining bright

Smiling in the sky.

I think about the year

The hard work and grades.

Relieved that the days

Of water, laughter, and fun

Are here again.

Autumn

The foliage of an aspen

Crimson, gold, and saffron,

Fluttering in the breeze.

Before my eyes,

Leaves drifting down slowly

To the ground.

Winter

In the morning

The blades of grass

Tinged with frost.

The sharp cold air

Wrapping itself around me.

My breath steaming before me.

The stillness of the air

Penetrated

By the shrieks of birds

.1.1.1 In flight.
