A Rose

A rose represents life.

Life can be like the most exquisite

Rose, but even that rose has its thorns.

Just like the rose, life wilts and blooms.

Its thorns are like the rough, hurtful Times. Its petals, the joyous.

But have you ever noticed,

As many thorns as there may be,

Petals of joy outnumber the thorns of Hate by many.

Let our live be as the rose.

Let us be more joyful than hateful.

And let us be kind to our fellow man.
