This is my favourite poem from my Year 10 era (2000). Springing from early morning drives and mysterious obsessions, what can you expect? Oh, and the title is reminiscent of Bob Dylan, even though I don't know the song specifically. This is a repost.

Rainy Day Woman

I wept rain for you.

It dripped into your

dark hair,

and you shook droplets

from your sweater.

They fell onto

another’s shoulders

leaving me empty inside ...

you

discarded my

love

just as easily.
