My Friends

Bud, pal, friend-

Always giving a hand to lend,

They are always there for me when I need them,

Just like a ring covered in a precious gem.

Here are the ones I’ve known for a while.

The list doesn’t run even close to a mile.

There’s Shirley, Amanda, Corinne, Stacy, and wait is that it,

I hope Stacy doesn’t accidentally falls in a pit!

Here are some buds that I met only last year,

One of them screams so loud you cannot hear.

Sophia-the angel and Cindy, is that all

I hope we’ll still be together next fall. (And that Cindy will stop creaming in the hall!)

Here are the friends that I’ve known just since September,

Hopefully they’ll be with me come next December.

We have my lunch table pals,

Lindsey, Steph, Steph, Alyssa-there all cool gals.

In the other table there are:

Ilona, Charlene, Amanda S, they’re never too far!

I hope they can help me open the pickle jar.

Here are some buds from Chinese school,

They should really have a pool.

There’s only Sam, Jen, Maryanne, and Em.

Charles sometimes has a lot of phlegm…

Some other peeps that are unique and obsessed with something,

They are Syed and some guy we call King.

One is has guts and is happy all around,

Right now he is likely to be love-bound.

The other is chicken and kinda being a wimp,

At least we know he’s not a pimp.

Good luck to those two and don’t start to moo.
