Sometimes, one simply does not wake up
and through the stark emptiness of this black hole
one doesn't recover
and self-esteem simply falls through
the side-walk cracks
that send it straight to hell
where it burns and combusts
like one molecule of hydrogen
separated from oxygen by
static electricity
that shocks and shocks
over and over.

A/N: I wrote this during Chemistry. The teacher was talking about how we could extract fuel from water by separating hydrogen from oxygen or whatever. I can't believe I actually listened during Chemistry...
