AN~ I know I don’t usually put in notes but this is a kind of confusing poem so, I read a book a long time ago that involved a character similar to this. For some odd reason the thought came up again in a dream and I felt it would work for a poem. Sadly I have no idea what story it was but if anyone can think of a possibility then please let me know. Thank you to the maybe two readers, I would appreciate reviews.

Can’t you feel her

Watching you

Her wild eyes

Of darkest blue

Her tangled hair

And muddy clothes

Yet why she’s here

No one really knows

They say she’s been here

All along

Singing the moon’s

Soft lilting song

Some say she rose up

From the sea

But I know that’s false

For she is me
