1 True love is but a feeling of content. The feeling of being with some one you cherish. To hold them close as if nothing else matters but them. Nothing in the world would bring them apart. And so the story begins…
In a time where men were chivalrous and brave and ladies were fair and kind there was a woman of the purest heart. She was beautiful and gentle like all maidens should be.
Far across the land there was a strong young man. His wisdom, though he was young, brought peace among people. Prosperity consumed the lands as he ruled.
One day while he was traveling the farthest part of the lands he came across a fair maiden. He called for her, but she did not heed his call.
She had been warned that she would fall in love with a man of royal blood and it would cause destruction to be brought upon the people. So she fled from him. He was left heart broken.
He returned to his castle feeling lonely. For weeks he sulked around doing nothing. Many people tried to help the king but none succeeded. They knew that the only the fair maiden would be able to help him.
Word of the king’s depression soon reached the maiden. As she lay hidden in the far mountains she thought of all that has happened. To her realization, she had caused it when she fled. This thought brought tears to her eyes.
When she could shed no more tears she went to rest. She slept soundly and restfully. For as she dreamed a fairy had told her it was wise to return to the king and listen to your heart.
She awoke the next morning joyously. She would return to her king and love him as much as she could. She packed her things and set on her way.
When she arrived at the castle the guards welcomed her, as did the king’s advisors. They quickly ushered her into the thrown room where the king sat.
As soon a he lay his eyes on her he leapt form his chair and embraced her. She gladly welcomed him into her embrace.
From that day on they lived happily together, ruling over the people. The people again were peaceful and prospered.
The moral of this story is that true love conquers all. Listen to your heart it will never steer you wrong.
