No! I screamed at the wall,
But it did not listen at all.
No! I pleaded to the sky,
But only the breeze answered with a sigh.

Stop! I shouted to the air,
But like the others, it did not care.
Stop! I cried to the day,

Please! I begged the night,
But it did not take away the bite.
Please! I asked the waving tree,
But it was to busy to help me.
