Okay. This is just my thoughts collaborated into a poem about hatred and bigotry because it happened to me before. Please r/r.

Note: This will probably not make sense to you because my thoughts were all jumbled and I didn’t know how to express myself.

Shades of Malignity

White, black, yellow

These are all just colors

Does it really matter

What colors we are?

Only those who are blind see them

Only those who are sick hold them close

Only those who are pitiful

See what does not matter

Malignity, hatred

Biased, cruel

Are we all so different?

Are we all not human?

Who drew the line

The line that divides us

The line that begins hatred

The line that begins wars

Why is it that we are so pitiful

To follow that line

To our destruction

To the end

White, black, yellow

These are just colors to me

The colors of the web

That entwines us all

Together.

It made no sense, I know. Please read and review and share your thoughts. This poem was inspired by two certain people who knew that they were being bigots. Thank you for the inspiration.
