Dark Desire

Like a shadow within the dark

The flame flickers beneath wicked coldness

Beaten as if with a bat

Your hope now brutally sliced

Wishes spattered onto the wall

Like fresh blood shattered from the veins

Frozen all is lost

Black within the eye

Silence rules the converting noise

Can't all disappear

Like a candle lighten

A spur of East makes it lost to the darkness

You stand crumpled like a paper

Tears slipping dripping with loosing life

Confidence existing no more

The pressure pushing

Digging deeper

Striving further

The giver of peace in front

A hand quivering ever so gently

Handle pressed so tightly

Silver gleaming as the moon brought down

A window now open

Through it you may escape

Under the cloak of red death

A choice to be through

In a swipe there is no return

What choice would you wish

A fate lies in your hands

Hands stained with irony

The irony of sweeping red
