Utter confusion during clear, blue skies.
At my side, you stand completely still.
Intense emotion lies smothered beneath my eyes;
Fighting my desire is like running uphill.

You turn around and look at me;
Your eyes stare straight into mine.
You laugh it off and say "let things be";
You say that everything will be just fine.

I wish I could forget what happened that day,
Yet all I can do is long for it more.
I'll never forget that kiss, no matter what I say.
I've never felt this way before.

Why do I feel this way?
Why can't I just forget that day...?
