Usually I'm not one for entire chapters devoted to an author's note, but...daaaaaayyyooom! It took me 10 years to finish this story, and the latter chapters may be totally differen to the former, and it may be one hell of a mess, but...

It's bloody well FINISHED!

I finished it today, Feb 3, 2009. I started it back in 1999 when I started university. I was a very, very different back then, and I was living vicariously through this story. Since I've moved on from that it was quite a struggle to get the story done. But I'm so happy I can now tick it off my to-finish list.

Thanks to everyone who ever reviewed this. I honestly think this story needs lots of work...but for now it's enough for me that it's done. At last.

I am off to crack another glass of wine, damn it!

Oh, and I should note that there IS a sequel to this story...but an extremely incomplete one. I am more motivated to work on that one than I ever was to finish this one ;)
